  • They communicated very well leading up to their arrival at my home. They acted extremely professional and courteous and were both very strong guys that had no issues unloading my 26' truck. They were focused on the task at hand and completed the unloading in the scheduled time with no issues. They were very careful with my possessions and made sure to protect them as much as possible during the unloading. I had big heavy furniture such as sofas, washer and dryer units and chest of drawers and these guys handled them without any issues. Overall, very experienced and hard working team that were extremely polite throughout the move. I would definitely hire these guys again! Great work fellas!

  • Please avoid this service. My property was damaged from poor loading, not utilizing the supplies that Uhaul says you need and careless placement in the truck. Tops of furniture was placed on the floor surface of the truck and scratched, corners were chipped off edges of furniture, an antique table's legs were broken off, chairs were stacked seat down on the straight edges of furniture and caused deep scratches, book boxes were stacked on top of boxes marked fragile, breakable or glass,no tie down straps were used, few of the 72 blankets I rented were used. The slides on a dresser were broken because it was not wrapped when they initially tried to move it to the truck. The glass shelves from the China cabinet fell out; luckily they did not break. Most furniture was wrapped in saran wrap, not buble wrap or blankets. A second crew was sent out to repack the truck before we could travel and our drive was delayed by a day, requiring the need to extend the time we had the truck. AVOID!!

  • Overall, the crew worked hard and helped disconnect my washer & dryer, protect my TV, bag my mattress, disassemble furniture, and load my U-Boxes. I truly appreciated their help. I also want to be fair and mention I wasn’t completely finished packing when they arrived, and I understand that made the job more challenging. Unfortunately, one lamp was broken, and some of my belongings were handled more roughly than I was comfortable with. My neighbor also commented on the rough handling. After disconnecting the washer, I later found a large amount of water on the floor that wasn’t mentioned. The third U-Box also wasn’t packed efficiently, so I had to hire another mover to rearrange the third and final U-Box to maximize the space and fit the remaining items. The mover offered to replace the lamp but never followed up. I chose not to pursue it since it was only a lamp.

  • Communication was mixed. The owner was responsive before the move, but after the crew missed their arrival time, I had to reach out for an update. I was then given a new ETA, but they arrived about an hour later. The crew worked hard, but the end of the move was uncomfortable. Around 9 p.m., while they were still moving my belongings, the owner texted asking if the move was finished. The workers instructed me to say yes and provide the completion code even though we had about an hour left. Since they still had my belongings and I was alone with them late at night, I did not feel comfortable refusing. They then told me to pay for the extra hour outside the app, even though the owner was telling me extra time had to be booked through the app. One worker wanted Zelle, while the other asked for cash. I tipped in cash and sent the extra hour of time to Frank via Zelle with gift as the memo as instructed. I appreciate that they helped on short notice, but this was very uncomfortable.

They were okay communicating, but I did find myself needing to follow up a few times throughout the day. They were efficient in loading my Ubox and to my knowledge didn’t damage anything. We’ll see when I unpack it though.

  • I’m giving this moving service 1 star because the experience was stressful, cost me extra money, and resulted in damaged furniture and broken items. Alexander is friendly and hardworking, but it became clear I was essentially hiring one experienced mover. His helper did very little, so a job estimated at 5 hours took 9 hours, forcing me to pay for 4 extra hours that could have been avoided with a competent crew. The morning of the move was also chaotic. Even though everything was confirmed 5–7 days in advance, I received repeated messages about the rain and finding a helper, leaving me unsure whether they would even show up. The biggest issue was how my furniture was handled. Heavy-duty packing tape was placed directly on painted wood furniture, pulling off the finish when removed. They also broke a glass frame and several other items. Between the poor communication, extra cost, and damaged belongings, I cannot recommend this company.

My move was on a tight timeline, and although he didn’t have an opening until the following night, he went out of his way to fit me into his schedule and came the same evening to help. That level of customer service alone is rare these days. What amazed me most was that he handled nearly everything by himself. He worked tirelessly for hours, late into the night, without a helper, yet never once complained or cut corners. He was professional, efficient, careful, and incredibly hardworking from start to finish. He treated my belongings with care and respect, and his work ethic was truly impressive. Every time I tried to help, he politely insisted on handling it himself. It was obvious that he takes tremendous pride in his work and genuinely cares about his customers. Moving is stressful, but Alexander made the entire experience easier and far less overwhelming. Finding someone this dependable, dedicated, and hardworking is rare.

  • Our ubox delivery was delayed because of an equipment malfunction at Uhaul, and the mover kept us updated throughout the whole process. We originally didn’t pay to have him help us load the ubox, but since the delivery was a couple hours late, he offered to help us free of charge. Great service and communication!

  • They were great changing my day to help earlier than planned. The 2 guys Dwayne and 1 other didn't arrive until after 11am and they smelled like Marijuana. They were nice and great about wrapping my furniture in blankets. Dwayne reminded me no less than 6 times to make sure I take care of them. I provided them with water, bought them lunch and had gone to the ATM to get money. I also explained that I ordered 1 extra pod incase we needed it but I hoped to save money by not using it. Dwayne said, we got you, just make sure to take care of us. I noticed he put the entire package of blankets in one of the pods.he said it was to brace a table. Great with getting my extra large table in the pods. I suggested putting stuff under the table Dwayne replied, You really want to treat your furniture that way?At 430p he received a call from the office for a key. He suddenly said they had to go. The next day I found 9 packages of blankets where boxes would have fit and 2 pods were half full.

We had considered trying to move all of our belongings into the Uhaul U-boxes ourselves to save some money, but I am so glad that we chose to hire these guys. They were able to play an advanced game of tetris and fit everything inside of the U-boxes, even though realistically we probably needed another box. Things went wildly awry the morning of my intended move date thanks to some unexpected repair work in my new apartment, & he was so kind, responsive, calm & helpful as I worked through all the scheduling issues. He rearranged his schedule to be able to fit me in the following day, which he absolutely didn't have to do.   • If I could give this company a 1 star review for their overall services I would. I rate them overall as a 2 star. The extra star is for Ronald. Even though he was a little late starting, he’s an excellent worker with good communication skills. As for the second worker sent to help Ronald, I rate him as a negative 1. His name starts with F. F was 40mins late & when he arrived he was sitting down on the truck as if there wasn’t work to do, but he eventually got up. When he did, he complained about the work & he never came to help load the truck. Me & Ronald loaded 90percent of the truck. I paid this company $100per hr for 5 hours & let me tell u it WAS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. When it came time to Unload the truck they were about 2hrs late arriving. Ronald arrived first & immediately got to work. But when F arrived about 30mins after Ronald, he come up to me talking about our time is up. Thats when I told him that I spoke to the owner. He eventually started back working after calling him.

  • Mr. Alexander was on time and arrived ready to work. He was friendly, professional, and amazingly talented at making a lot of furniture fit in a smaller truck. His colleague, Michael, was almost two hours late, but Mr. Alexander made up for it by himself. The move went an hour and a half longer than expected due to Michael’s tardiness, but they did not charge me for the extra time and in fact Mr. Alexander even stayed to help us load a vehicle trailer after the loading was completed.   • Movers showed up 40 min late with 1 upright box dolly and no furniture dolly. I specifically called ahead 2 days prior to make sure they brought dollys. . One mover was semi-experienced and the second, it was his first time to move - no training. They took 5 hours what an experienced team could in 2 hours. And in all likelihood my furniture is damaged the way they were manhandling it. My advice run the other way and hire professional movers..

  • These 2 men unloaded a 26 foot truck and a 6x12 trailer for me in two different locations and reloaded some items that were returned to storage. They were very organized , structured, and safe. They handled our furniture with tender loving care. Because or their organizational skills, they were fast and efficient.   • They were on time but slow to my experience and took almost 2hrs to load a small 6’12 u haul trailer The guy told us that he doesn’t know how to load stuff in small trailer as he has always done loading in big truck with lot of space etc Which if he had informed us earlier wd have been better for us to select the movers accordingly and didn’t have to redo myself later in evening as they left lot of empty spaces un occupied Also the owner said something rudely to me which I couldn’t understand due to his thick accent he also advised my husband to quit smoking which I also didnt like as this was not his job to tell anyone so better mind his own business next time. In short I wont higher them again in future for these reasons also we paid them tip in cash. I wont recommend them if u have limited space to load the stuff as they will waste your time in reloading the stuff again properly urself.

They did not take good care of our furniture at all. We have moved several times in the past few years and this was one of our worst experiences.   • I scheduled truck and helpers for 12:00pm on 4/2/16. When I called the number provided at 11:00am to confirm, the Rasta rep told me they could not meet me until approximately 2pm-3pm. I told him that would bot work for me & I would have to make other plans. VERY DISAPPOINTED & WILL CONTACT DISCOVER CARD TO REVERSE CHARGES. When Rasta rep texted me about 3pm to say they were available, the move was completed.
