• Moving older health challenged person, no electric in trailer & stuff had bad odor. Mostly furniture. I still expected professionalism. Lot of yard ornaments & concrete stepping stones wanted but lower priority. I felt like two of the 3 guys did not want to have to do the yard stuff. I have never had movers load a truck as poorly. A 26 foot truck only loaded one layer of furniture. I have many many years of experience with movers & I know how to load a truck. I called the owner, was told he would make it right. They were going to drop first load to storage & come back for second load. They did not initially come back. Owner called me said they reported in said job was done and hours expired. I told him job was not done. Only one load was taken to storage and unloaded. It was not until I told them I had planned to tip them did they agree to take the few remaining items in trailer. Only some chairs were taken from outside. Lies were being told unsure from whom. Carl was great!

• Carl and CB could NOT have been any more helpful during our move-out. We received a call the day before confirming our preferred time and a call confirming the time the morning of. Then, as we discovered ALL of the city streets surrounding our building had been blocked from incoming and outgoing traffic, they handled the uncertainty and inconvenience with much more grace than we did! Their willingness to be flexible with the plans was invaluable. Then, they moved our belongings professionally and with care. Carl and CB are truly Big Helpful Gentlemen!

• Ben called and confirmed the same day I scheduled the move. The only issue I had was the move was scheduled for 11 and I did not receive any form of communication until 12. But when they showed up they completed a job that I thought may take 3hrs in only an hour and a half. I have to say that I would definitely use them again and I understand that moving companies do not always have a secretary so delays are to be expected sometimes.

  I apologize about your disappointment. We made every effort to handle your move with less than 12 hours notice. As discussed with you we planned for an 11 AM start but the crew arrived at noon after completing their earlier job. A third mover was scheduled but had to cancel last minute and you agreed to proceed with a reduced crew for three hours. The crew reported they were waiting for instructions and only sat down when directed. Our strong reputation is built on quality service and we did our best given the short notice. We will use this experience to better serve our customers in the future!

• WOW! we had three movers for 3 hours, these guys were AMAZING!!! They were strong, quick, very professional and friendly. They did not damage anything, put the furniture and boxes in the correct areas and we had a lot. What a pleasure it was to have the three gentlemen from Big Helpful Gentlemen. I could go on and on about how great they were, we were all in awe! It was such a relief to have awesome movers unpack all our belongings after traveling over 1600 miles to our destination. They took good care of our furniture during loading by using the furniture pads where necessary and also stacked our furniture and boxes properly to maximize the available space. • It was absolutely horrible! They came in threw everything in the truck, nothing was packed properly, the straps we bought, were not used. Damaged our furniture due to poor packing and we ended up taking 4 hours to repack. We called to see if they could send a team out to fix the packing and they said it wouldn’t be able to come for a couple of hours. I do not recommend them all. Just a terrible experience!!! Oh, and we tipped the 2 kids 20.00 a piece-cash. Never again

  We appreciate your feedback. Customer service is our priority, we will use this as an opportunity to get better. As we explained on the day of your move, we only provide the labor, not the equipment, especially for one way moves. With 1 day notice, we assisted with loading the truck as safely as we could with no moving blankets. We did not want to stack the antique furniture in order to AVOID DAMAGES. You called after we left and requested we come back to help you repack, we offered to do so free of charge once we completed assisting another client. That did not fit with your time constraints, so you repacked the truck yourselves leading to damages.
