The only thing I can say that is not 5 stars is the late start time. I was able to pick up my truck at 9. They told me they would be there between 10-11. Then 1115. Then 1144. Other than that the two young men who did the loading and unloading were terrific young men. Hard workers. Very careful.

The two gentlemen that moved my furniture and other household items did an excellent job. The freight elevator was down and the other elevator was working, but only half the size as the freight elevator. This caused the job to take twice as long. The movers really had their work cut out for them as my apartment was on the second floor. All in all, the movers were careful with my belongings. I give them a Five Star rating!!

Giovanni and his team are outstanding! They took extra care unloading and handling my family’s heirloom (heavy) furniture. And they carefully managed to bring a large designer sofa into a finished basement, with many tight angles and doorframes. I’m impressed! They completed everything in one hour. You cant ask for a better experience than Hands On Mover's. Giovanni and Isaac gave us value, speed, and never sacrificed quality. We moved into a small place with some massive stairs and they tackled the work with incredible speed and zero complaints. They showed respect to my family and property and I couldn't have been happier. Hands On Movers were terrific! We needed to move a 600-pound custom cabinet that was delivered by freight into our home. After they received the job order, they reached out right away and worked with me to ensure they understood exactly what the job entailed. (It was akin to a piano move, not a cut-and-dried big box move, so it did cost more, but it was well worth it!) They came early, ready to work, were extremely careful with the furniture, and were very pleasant and helpful. I'd book them again in a heartbeat--know what exactly your job requires and be clear about the weight, dimensions, and scope of what it entails so that they can give you the best job possible!

Hands on Movers did an outstanding job. They are truly amazing. Giovanni and his team went above and beyond to make my move stress free and stayed positive even after my U-Haul truck broke down after they spent hours loading it. Giovanni went out of his way and even drove me to get jumper cables. He is incredible , no other company would provide that kind of service. The team were so nice to work with. Giovanni and his crew helped us pack up our 26ft Uhaul in Cheektowaga. Our house was packed up and ready to be loaded and he showed up and had it loaded in the 26 foot van Like a game of Tetris in less then 3 hours which made for easy unload when we arrived at our new house. They showed up took charge and got the job done with pride. I would give 10 stars if possible. I would recommend these guys to anyone for their packing and moving needs.10 out of 10 service

Excellent job completed by Giovanni team. Initial move had to be rescheduled due to his team running late from another job however Giovanni took responsibility apologized and compensated by arranging additional support for the rescheduled date which was highly appreciated allowing us to complete the loading process for a 2 bedroom apartment with many items in less than 1.5 hours. I have completed many moves in past and was most impressed by Giovanni professionalism and skill set. His ability to pack the truck in careful and efficient manner ensuring my belongings will remain in good condition with no movement during the travel has surpassed other moving companies I have utilized. He treats your home items as if its his own. His team is punctual, efficient, excellent communication, and kind. Highly recommend his team for any moving needs.

Giovanni was able to provide manual labor, but he is extremely dishonest. He pretended that Moving Help was charging me extra fees and then begged me for almost an hour to not ask Moving Help. Once I spoke with Moving Help, they confirmed that the dishonesty and unauthorized charges were only from Giovanni. He promised to return the money but his accountant has been on vacation for two months. When I asked for an update, he told me I was blackmailing him. I bought lunch for the movers, despite them being 3 hours late. When leaving the job, Giovanni told me I was a beautiful and kind soul with a kind aura and he was going to do me a favor and fall on his sword and charge me less than Moving Help wanted to charge me. He said he would take the consequences from Moving Help. Moving Help confirmed this was all untrue. Moving Help recommended that I take him to small claims court and I will follow this guidance and hopefully protect others from his dishonesty and manipulation.

This experience was extremely disappointing. Gio was amazing, but the two people he brought to help move thing, not so much. These two guys threw things and dropped boxes multiple times. They scratched my floors while moving larger furniture and said that’s a big scratch rather than apologize. Needless to say they didn’t seem to care about being careful or respect my things. At one point, one guy was going to throw something off of my balcony to his partner. To make things even worse, now that i have arrived to my final destination out of state, some of my future is damaged with large scratches and nicks. Overall i would not recommend this company due to the lack of attention to care.

When they got to work it was all professionalism (though I hopefully made it easy for them). Just wish they’d communicated a bit more during the process—trying to catch Giovanni on the phone was tough sometimes, especially day of when they ran into some delays. Happy overall but not thrilled. Paid $200 for what turned out to be a 1 hr job completed an hour late so going to hold off on tipping.

I initially hired In and Out Movers and they completely flaked on me the day of my move, even let their phone go to voicemail the whole day. When I reached out to Hands on Movers, he reassured me that I would be well taken care of. All of my items were moved in record time, and they even did troubleshooting to make sure everything worked. Nothing broken, everything was placed where I requested. I couldn’t have asked for better movers. My only complaint was not calling them first! Don’t play around with unprofessional movers, call Hands on Movers. You won’t regret it.

They were awesome in how they loaded the truck. Unfortunately, I had too much stuff to fit it all in the 26 foot U-Haul but these guys were still able to pack 99 percent of my stuff into the truck (including a large basement and garage full of stuff). Everything was packed into the truck with care and stacked well. Giovanni was a great leader and jig-jaw puzzler to get everything packed in the truck that they did. I would definitely recommend this crew to anyone!

These folks were very nice people the team added an additional person which truly didn’t do much then charged me 700 extra dollars for the move which took my movers previous to them half the time with two movers this truly disgusted me to my core .3rd person just talked and supervised which was owner that truly defeated the purpose of the 3rd person but still charged for his time .the guys he had were hard working but damaged a lot of stuff due to lack of strength in someone being trained .You would think your movers don’t need to be supervised and kno..what to do so you don’t charge people for your training and supervision of others this made this move non productive and costly

Very professional, however in the end when we started unpacking, there was broken and scratched furniture. To be fair, the broken pieces were not of excellent craftsmanship, however it shows that they did not utilize blankets in the best ways possible nor did they take into consideration which items should not be placed together. Additionally it was discovered there was a missing ratchet strap.

Gio and Issac both were very personal during the move. They were fast and careful with my furniture and items. I didn’t have ratchet straps to secure the load and they willingly gave me two to secure the load! Never used a moving company before but highly recommend these guys!! Amazing service with smiles all around From the truck's inside to our home's ground Each box very much handled with care The prices they charge are more than fair Making taking heavies out look easy Twas hard for me to pretend to be busy. This was my second move with hands on movers. Both moves they were late. My first move they told me early am and it close to noon before they arrived. Same thing this time. This go around I was very unhappy. They started out strong and cleared out a lot quickly. (I live in a small 1 br and was just moving to a lower unit. After the first 45 minutes they slowed down significantly. I was in my top apartment cleaning while they were moving and I didn’t think I needed to babysit. I should have. After they were finished, I spent another hour and a half cleaning. When I went downstairs I was so upset to find that my doors had been left open when they left. Not only that my door was damaged. Someone had wedged pliers into the top of the door hinge which damaged the hinge. I did say something about it and was told a stranger did it. I was told a lot of different stories but never once did I get an apology or any effort to reconcile. In short, I won’t be using them again.

Giovanni and Issac were rockstars!!! We had tons of issues with U-Haul. No fault of Hands on Movers!! But they came out and hit the ground running. Staying until the job was finished. I would recommend them over and over. We also used them to unpack our load, cause they were so good. Nothing broken or damaged. Giovanni was a master a packing our 26 foot truck. I can't say enough on how Issac just worked and pick up stuff I couldn't. Those guys are amazing!! Thank you again for helping make our very stressful situation so much easier.

The movers were very slow and took their leisurely time during the move which cost me $300 more! There were two men and one child moving into the new apartment and the child was not careful at all with items. I had to ask the child to not hit the items on the walls. I was very disappointed in their service, but tipped them anyway with cash.

They were extremely congenial and easy to work with. Overall I couldn’t have asked for any better help with getting my furniture into the apartment. They were amazing! The company repeatedly delayed their arrival time that day and ultimately were no longer needed. They were supposed to show up around 2:30pm (which is why they were hired) and at 6:30pm they were still not planning to be there shortly. The truck I had hired them to unload had to leave (as the driver had another job) and I ended up unloading the truck myself. They told me a refund would be issued but apparently that has not yet been done. Can you please process a full refund immediately.

From the owner to the crew they were simply amazing. They were very professional and personable. They went above and beyond and were very cautious with alot of fragile items. On July 15th rented a Uhaul along with the moving helper service provider: Hands On Movers, helpers were supposed to be location at 10am July 15, 2021 but due to a scheduling error on their end they weren’t going to be at our location until 6 hours later around 4pm. Unfortunately at that time we had already had to take back the uhaul we rented for the day. We want a refund cause we had already paid the $245 at the time of reservation.

The moving helper called at the time they were scheduled to arrive to inform me the crew had finished a job in Rochester NY, and on they way over to our site had vehicle trouble. I can understand situations like this, but if they were several hours away, I would have expected a call when they experienced the vehicle trouble. Not when they were due to arrive. The company charged me an extra $70 for mileage at the last minute the movers were more than an hour late took more than 3 hours to load the truck the movers didn't pack the truck efficiently so the load shifted during transport. I would NOT recommend this company.
