I sent a text late the night before our move to confirm because they had not reached out to me since I booked the service a couple of weeks prior. I'm glad I did, because it seemed had I not, they would not have showed up. All in all, we were very pleased and it was a great experience. We could not have done it without them!

• This was the third time we have used Centex Movers because they are by far the BEST! Carlos and Mark quickly and efficiently loaded a 26 foot U-Haul, taking precautions to protect our items. • As someone with a physical disability, I was pleased to find a service like this when renting a U-Haul truck, but my experience was deeply disappointing. The movers arrived 40 minutes late, from scheduled time. Though friendly, they disappeared for 20 mins during a 2-hour job, then charged me for an extra half-hour. One of the movers mentioned he was tired, which felt unprofessional due to the job.The worst part, however, was that they broke my $1,225 sofa bed during the process. Despite multiple attempts to reach them through calls and texts, I received no response. I submitted a claim via the MovingHelp portal, which states the company has 14 days to respond. Unfortunately, I have yet to hear anything from them, despite repeated efforts to resolve the issue.I have hired moving companies before and never experienced this level of disregard. Not only was my furniture damaged, but the complete lack of communication after they got paid left me with a very sour experience.

• The folks with centex arrived on time and overall were good guys but they did take longer than estimated and seem like they did not have much experience with furniture They left all of our odd shaped furniture and flatscreen TV until the last Pod and tried to put a heavy safe on top of our couch base which would have destroyed the wooden base I am not super impressed

• Damn. These guys were incredible. Came in and got the job done no issues whatsoever. Loaded the truck fast and kept up a strong pace from start to finish. I had an appointment for 1pm but the truck I got from Uhaul was delayed. So they waited almost two hours past my appointment time for me to arrive with the truck and did not charge me extra. Professional guys. No complaints. Will book again hands down.

• Bad experience all around. I hire 4 movers for 3 hours. Only 3 showed up so they worked four hours. They wanted to charge me a higher rate (evidently 3 people for 4 hours cost more than 4 people for 3 hours). They broke a framed photo and I found the photo lying among the garbage on the lawn and never found the photo. I assume they hid the broken frame because it was never found.I called ahead to confirm that they could remove refrigerator doors and reinstall them correctly . They told me that they could do that. They removed the doors to get them through the door and reinstalled them incorrectly so I will need to hire an appliance technician to remove the French doors on both refrigerators and reinstall them. Using them was a big mistake.

• I made the reservation on 3/21 for a 2 hour packing job. I received a confirmation call on 3/21 shortly after making the reservation. I did choose 2 helpers, for 2 hours, for pack/unpack. I also wrote in details of the actual job in the additional details section. This morning (the day of the job) I received this text “ I just became aware that the total you payed for the day is 100$. Between gas labor and the percentage U-Haul takes out we will lose money. I apologize but other arrangements will have to be made.” to which I responded. “ Ok well I’m going to have to send a complaint then. Because all of that information was in the U-Haul website when I booked it and this is bad business And it wasn’t for a whole day it was 2 hours”. To which they responded “ If you feel that’s necessary do what you have to do. We aren’t going to drive 45 mins to lose money then drive back 45 mins. • The guys were very nice and worked very hard. They were a little unprepared - they forgot the furniture blankets & packing stuff they said they were bringing.

• The communication was great. They were proactive in alerting me of a booking issue. They were very professional and called in advance to confirm all of the details. • The young men showed up on time, they were polite but there packing skills leave a lil to be desired. Had to do some repacking of the truck.
