After observing Nick for an hour, I started calling him a Loading Zen Master. He is an experienced mover who approaches the packing and loading of the unit with a calm and methodical mindset. He transformed a stressful, chaotic process into a smooth and efficient one. The only minor issue was when the bookcase ended up being too heavy to walk down the stairs, but Nick had the necessary equipment and it was handled quickly by the team.

They contacted right away in the morning to check on what time would work that afternoon. Then kept me updated with thier arrival time throughout the day. Especially considering I live rather remotely and it took them a bit to find the location. Upon arrival they were very curtious and kind and made sure they placed furniture and boxes where I wanted everything and that it was all positioned correctly. They handled everything with care and precision. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone. And would use them again if I needed to! A+ service.

Did a great job of unloading. Before they left, they cleaned up the inside of my truck, folded all the blankets and organized my cords. What a nice way to finish the job.

My dog accidentally got out and they drove me around the neighborhood to find her since I only had the uhaul. I was SO grateful they were able to get the job done beautifully but most importantly see the importance of my dog and adapt the job.

Joshua was just awesome at packing. I hope they will be the ones loading me up tomorrow evening. Their team demonstrated proficiency and extreme knowledge in how to pack every item whether it be awkward or fragile, so it would stay safe during transport. His service was white-glove precision, no doubt. Communication remained transparent and responsive, gave us updates every time he would be ready, be on his way, and 15 minutes, and 5 minutes from our place! WOW! Quite simply, they’re the best. I am giving a 5 star review based on the owner’s integrity and desire to do a great job for me. Our window of time was very tight and he accomplished the unload in desired time. We used my last booked hour to get the inside of my house sorted. I also offered feedback on his support team and the opportunity there. He was receptive and agreed with the feedback. We booked last minute for my mom, and this company came through! We were so nervous to be booking last minute on a weekend after normal business hours, but their name says it all!! They truly are reliable. They moved my mother, and my 5yr old niece. They communicated everything, it went over and they were so polite, and didn’t stop until they were finished. They have a customer in my family for life!

We booked Local Reliable Movers to help unload a 26 foot U-Hahl truck from out of state in April of ‘23. Nick and Andre unloaded and had all the furniture in place in under an hour. The used the remaining hour to help unload the smaller items. They were so nice, careful and professional that when we decided to move in April of ‘24, the first thing we knew were doing was booking Nick and Andre again. They helped load everything in the U-Haul truck and helped unload at the new place all with the same niceness, carefulness and professionalism as a year before. I cannot recommend these guys more.

Hello Charlotte, I am so sorry that you were not completely satisfied with our services. I just wished you elaborated so so we could improve in the areas you believe we under performed... We came on time we kept in contact entire time... I even waived the $400 charge for the moving of the safe just because of your situation, even though we were getting paid gross revenue about $200. We even finished it a bit earlier because we moved quickly but carefully and you and your partner kept on saying how great of movers we are! I wish I could understand the disconnect so we could improve, and not receive this poor review as it weighs heavily on our place in the search results and that's how we are able to keep food on the table and be able to take care of our kids. Two of my friends told me about this company called Local Reliable Movers that they are truly professionals and they know what they're doing they have the experience and the knowledge so I just wanted to try it out for myself with some help with a little bit of packing and some moving. So, you can definitely tell very professional experienced and won't leave until you're absolutely satisfied! Hands down, the best moving company we have ever hired. These guys deserve a gold medal in Tetris! Watching them load and unload my U-Haul was like witnessing a real-life game of moving furniture Jenga. They somehow managed to fit everything perfectly, and I half expected them to shout Bingo! when the last piece fell into place. If moving was an Olympic sport, these guy would definitely take home the gold and maybe a few splinters too!

One hour into the job, they took a 40 minute break. I understand the need for a break while doing a hard job, but paying them for a 40 minute break did not feel good. My other complaint is they used a moving blanket to wrap a bicycle but not a dresser. The dresser was left standing with a rope over the top of it. The dresser tipped over and received multiple gouges, dings, scratches.

The break was UNPAID, we told your husband as you were not present. However, WE COMPLETED the job! there was nothing else to load for your long trip. We took the unpaid break which was 30 min. because it was THREE flights of stairs on extremely sunny day, we were wet as if we came out of the shower.. About the bicycle being wrapped and not the dresser, there nothing that could have touched the dresser but where the bicycle was it had to be wrapped because it had a lot of pointy points. It could have scratched all over your furniture because you had no pads, no tie straps, no tie downs, no blankets, no tape.. About the dresser, we even had to use our own rope, I found in my car. I told you. I'm not very good at tieing knots, if you guys know how to do this better please do! I really tried my best! I apologize for not tieing it better, I'm sorry. You didn't have any supplies even though I did text you a day prior things to have ready, pads, tape, bungees, tie downs, etc..

The guys were physically slow and had a bad attitude. They also were complaining in Russian the whole time about having to work. The construction crew at the house spoke Russian and told me they we talking shit about having to work all day. Your crew should not assume people don't understand Russian. I had to finish the job by myself because after 5 hours these slow movers were not done. They DEFINATELY need to get another easier job, one that does not need a physical talent because they have none. (one guy has no business doing physical work) ULOADING A TRUCK is the easiest job in moving and there is zero reasons why this crew struggled with this job. Sad effort!!!!

Took a lot longer than anticipated. Partly because they decided to disassemble furniture that didn't need disassembling. They could have fit it in the truck or done multiple trips (destination was less than 5min from origin). Also discovered major wall damage from the move. Goodbye deposit. They took a 75 min lunch mid way plus a 15min break and then tried to charge me for at least an extra hour or more at the end cause they weren't done. They ended up leaving stuff in the garage including my queen mattress instead of actually moving it up to my room as requested. I had to move it on my own which really defeated the purpose of hiring movers. Overall they were nice people but seemed inexperienced and knew that if they went slow they could charge more. I had prepped everything so they just needed to move major furniture and it still took 8 hrs to move a 3bd apartment (including their 75m lunch).

Even though there was some problem occurred during the pick-up, they were very patient and waited at U-Haul for over 2 hours until we solved the problem. After that, they turned back to hook up the u-box for us after almost 3 hours of waiting. Definitely will recommend hire them on my next move!

Showed up 2.5 hours late. Both workers took a 30 min break after 1 hour. They kept tweaking with the bike on their van. We drove the U Haul to the storage unit and went the long way. Plus we stopped for food. They went the short way and still arrived 20 min after us. Only one guy got out of the van

They did not show up, i called an hour later and they said they could not get a hold of their movers. I had to reschedule for another time that did not work for our schedule. Then they did not show up for the reschedule. They then called an hour later saying they were on there way, but at that point it was too late in the day and we had done most of the job ourselves. Terrible experience and a huge waste of time.

No call or text to even let us know they wouldn't be coming, they told us 6pm, which we asked again if they were sure they would be here and they stated it was for sure. again no call no show it's 7:30, we have 2 babies, and now my husband will be having to take at least a half day off from work which is about $200 in loss for us. Got a call 7pm the night before the move to confirm to start between 10-12. The day of the move 12 came and had never heard from the movers. Called,was told the movers went to the wrong job. Movers finally arrived @ 2pm which put us behind by 4 hrs.
