We had a terrible woman in the building I was moving into who had a fit because we were holding up the elevator. Our movers were patient and willing to stay longer to help us unload everything. They also carried a heavy couch up many flights of stairs that didn't fit in said elevator. They were wonderful guys. The owner also got us a COI on very short notice, and we really appreciated it.

We had a flawless move in with Tetris Wizards. Anthony, the owner, was very responsive, getting all our of details and answering every question. Our crew, Josh and Randy, were so efficient and moved our belongings with ease and took so much care. Moving into a city like New York can be so stressful, they made it a breeze. Every aspect of the move in was 5 STARS. Thank you all for making this such a pleasant experience!

The team was timely, caring for my things, and extremely helpful for my move! I had an outstanding experience with this moving company! I needed to change my moving date to a day earlier at the last minute, and they were incredibly accommodating and made it happen without any issues. The crew completed the entire move in under two hours, and every item was handled with exceptional care and professionalism. Nothing was rushed, and I felt confident my belongings were in good hands. One thing that really stood out was that the movers are deaf. Communication was easy, and it certainly didn’t stop them from providing exceptional customer service. Their professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail spoke for themselves. I would absolutely book with them again without hesitation and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, caring movers. Five stars all the way!

Yeah. So. I had booked 2 helpers for 2 hours to help me unload the U-Haul truck. I was late to the appointment time due to traffic. The two guys not only waited for me no problem, but also had kept me a parking spot in downtown Brooklyn in the middle of the day. The two guys couldn’t hear or talk, but both were excellent. Efficient, careful, strong. We communicated via hand signals and when needed typed out using the smartphone, but honestly that was not a problem. They really understood what they needed to do, and were careful to ask me every time about where to put down boxes, in which order to unload the stuff, everything. They got it done, with rime to spare. I even picked up some hand signals along the way.

I used Tetris Wizards for my move to NYC years ago and had such a good experience that I hired them again to move out of NYC this time around. They are punctual, fast, and very professional and kind. My first move they got my entire bedroom moved in 45 minutes, even though it was a fourth-floor walk-up. This time around there were a few hiccups with one mover getting delayed at another job, which was unfortunate, but things happen. Tetris Wizards was apologetic and communicative about the delay, and the one guy that wasn’t delayed was incredible in moving a ton of my stuff quickly even without the second guy there. Highly recommend.

We moved cross-country and it was so awesome to have Tetris Wizards help us once we got to NYC! They were slightly delayed from a previous job (it happens! Anthony kept us up to date about timelines - very communicative!), but sent an extra person to help us out! The team was able to help us find a better, closer spot for our U-Haul AND have a 2 bedroom apartment moved (3rd floor walk up!) in about an hour! Really impressive how quickly and efficiently they worked. Also really appreciate the responsiveness of Anthony while planning it out! Love that we were able to text instead of phone calls! Highly recommend, will definitely check if they’re available when we move next time.

Tetris Wizard movers were great. They were punctual, assessed all of my household items, and moved quickly. I was nervous that all of my items would not fit into a 10ft truck, but they were able to pack the truck with ease and without concern. I drove for 10 hours, and upon arrival nothing shifted, nor broke - a testament to their packing skills. Highly recommend this crew!

1) Company agreed to reschedule, then arrived 2.5 HOURS LATE, stringing me along while wasting my entire day. 2) Wildly Unprepared- No dolly, doubling unload time. 3) APPALLING hygiene- Movers carried items PRESSED DIRECTLY AGAINST SWEATY CLOTHES AND BARE ARMS, transferring sweat stains onto my belongings. The absolute low? One mover SOAKED THE FABRIC OF MY CHAIR WITH HIS ODOROUS ARMPIT SWEAT during transport - absolutely repulsive. 4) False Family Business Vibe- Don't be fooled. This isn't some caring local, family operation. It's a faceless outfit that randomly pairs two employees together. There's no pride, no accountability, and certainly no customer care. Overall, this company delivered the worst service imaginable. They wasted my day, damaged my belongings through sheer negligence and repugnance, and lacked basic tools and professionalism. The sweat incident alone is unforgivable. You are paying for stress, damaged goods, and profound regret. RUN. Find literally anyone else.

I hired two movers from Tetris to help unload a 20ft U-Haul truck and move everything into my new apartment in NYC, and they did a great job. They showed up on time, were very careful with my belongings, and worked efficiently to complete everything within the agreed time frame. They knew how to operate the freight elevator, which was a huge help, and even brought in a few packages and deliveries that weren’t part of the move. Their professionalism made a stressful day so much easier. The only challenge was needing to follow up a few times to get the full Certificate of Insurance (COI), but it was eventually provided. Overall, I highly recommend these movers to anyone looking for reliable, skilled, and courteous help in NYC.

The Tetris team was on-time and very communicative during the day of the move to provide their timing as well as to acknowledge my feedback as we were in transit from Boston to New York and hitting traffic once in Manhattan. The 2 movers were fantastic as they kept moving and were able to navigate with the larger heavier boxes. They were great! I would highly recommend Tetris for any job as you always want a mover that will communicate, you don't want surprises the day of the move, and you want a mover that will be careful with your belongings as well as the building you are moving into. Tetris is your choice!!!

Took 5 hours just to load and unload, yet this is now my 3rd move with the same amount of stuff and it took the guy 5 hours. Usually it takes 2 and half hours to move my stuff. Saw the moving guys wasting time waiting for each other, texting on their phones, didn’t use any of the handcarts I rented to speed up the process either. I feel like this company is trying to waste time while you move so they make more money. They decided to break down my bed that could have easily been carried out, they didn’t even ask they just did it. once again to prolong the move so more money is made. On top of that I found a bunch of items that fell when they were moving my stuff into my apartment that they never picked up or even re-traced their steps to make sure they didn’t drop stuff. I WOULD NOT rent this company again. If I could rate 0 starts I WOULD!

I made it clear that the furniture that would not fit in an SUV was the first to be placed on the truck. I had rented a truck large enough for the furniture, yet at the end of loading, there were still 6 pieces of furniture too large for an SUV not on the truck. This made no sense given the truck was almost as deep as my storage unit, and lots of the items were small pieces of furniture and boxes. When other movers unloaded at the endpoint, they found large gaps of space on the truck where no items were placed. They also found numerous pieces of furniture that were small enough to fit in an SUV, which meant that the movers ignored my instructions. Now I have to rent another truck and endure this expensive process again. Also, add extra time to your move because the 3 movers I had were deaf, did not lip-read and did not speak. All communication was typed by 1 mover on his phone and then I had to talk into the phone, which he then read. He had to stop working during this communication.

We used Tetris Wizards for a large move out of an elevator building in midtown Manhattan. There were several extremely heavy and breakable pieces and our team moved&packed them with ease. We were very happy with Tetris Wizards. We hired them to unpack pods into our new home. From the getgo, Anthony was very communicative via text and so scheduling was easy. The day of, we had some delays with our pods being delivered and Tetris Wizards accommodated a several-hour change in our appointment with no extra charge. When our pods continued to be delayed, movers Ricardo, Randy, and Grazio (who were promptly on time) helped us situate some boxes and furniture already in our house. Then, as soon as the pods arrived, they got to work and had us unpacked in very quick amount of time. They had no trouble moving my husband's heavy tool chest and many heavy boxes of books, and they were attentive to where we directed them to put things. Highly recommend Tetris Wizard for their punctuality and professionalism.

I chose Tetris Wizards to assist with a move. My move was in a couple of weeks and their price was competitive. I was contacted by Anthony F. rather quickly to confirm the move, both to load and unload and what was to be moved. We emailed several times, including the day before. On the morning of the move it was very hot and I was contacted, by text, by the movers who were going to arrive shortly. My movers were Javier and Shamil. They were VERY efficient. We reviewed what was being taken in the truck, as we had both a basement to bring items from and a first floor. I thought we'd have to make 2 trips to move everything but Javier and Shamil expertly packed the truck so that we only had to make one trip...HENCE TETRIS! They had everything loaded and unloaded in half the time I expected, even with the extreme heat. I would highly recommend Tetris Wizard to help with your move. Thanks again to Anthony, Javier and Shamil for their great work! Well done!

The team arrived on time on moving day and immediately got to work. They were super fast, wrapped up early and with no damage to any of our belongings or the building we were moving into. They were easily the most careful and courteous movers we've ever used; Tetris will definitely be our go to moving company in the future.

I’ve moved my daughter to from NY and Washington DC multiple times. This was by far the best experience. We booked Tetris Wizards months in advance and each time we had to modify our move date, Anthony was able to accommodate our request, always responding quickly through text message. 3 days before our move, we realised our move date was the day of the NYC marathon (and of course the route ran in front of the apartment we needed to move into so the road was scheduled to be closed). Again, Anthony was able to reschedule us. On the day of the move, our crew showed up on time (a rarity these days) and got right to work. Grazio and Randy, from start to finish, did a wonderful job. A 3 flight walk up didn’t phase them as they completed our move faster than we anticipated. The next time I need moving services , I will be calling Tetris Wizards.

These guys were amazing, they got right to work and unloaded everything from my 20 foot U-Haul truck which consisted of mainly bulky furniture, boxes and bins. The crew was very professional and did a great job loading our truck in a timely manner. There were 2 problems, however. First, I explained that I needed to pick up additional furniture along the way and asked that they leave plenty of room on the back of the truck to do so. They didn't pack to the ceiling along the way and ended up loading all the way to the back of the truck. This meant that I had to skip the additional pickup until I unloaded. Going back for the additional pickup was a 7 hour round trip and cost me more in fuel. Second, I provided 4 dozen furniture pads, but they barely used any of them. As a result, our couch was soiled, and an antique rocking chair was damaged by friction against another item in the truck.

Dontaye and David were incredible at unloading my 10’ truck into my second floor walk-up. They got it all done quickly and professionally. They showed up on time and were communicative in the days and hours leading up to the move. They were kind and understanding towards my parents and asked questions to make sure items were placed right where I wanted them. HIGHLY recommend this service and will definitely use them again in the future.

Anthony the owner was very responsive to texts before the move. Dontaye was great with contact the day of, he and the 2nd worker (didn't get his name) were very friendly and professional, and worked as hard as two guys I've ever seen. On a hot day in late July, they hustled and moved so quickly and carefully, up 4 floors, despite being drenched in sweat. They got the realistically 2 hr job done in 40 minutes! They weren't the cheapest listed, but they're a legitimate company with a website, and I couldn't be more glad we picked them. I rarely write reviews, but couldn't have been more pleased, or recommend Tetris and this crew more highly!

I was very happy with these guys. One of the movers showed up a bit late, but they worked hard in 90 degree heat and did an outstanding job with a tough apartment and tough items. Only 1 or 2 things got nicked during the move, but 1 was my fault for not wrapping it better. They were also very polite and professional.

I was very impressed with Tetris management and its movers. All communication was prompt and responsive. Tetris quickly provided my Co Op management company with a Certificate of Insurance (COI). The Tetris moving crew showed strong work ethic, professionalism, and empathy. I was in a bit of a bind with this move. My wife delivered our baby a few weeks earlier than expected. She went into labor and delivery immediately prior to when I had originally scheduled our move. Tetris showed a flexibility and willingness to accommodate our birthing schedule that was changing from minute-to-minute. I am grateful for this compassion -- through these life changing events. Our Tetris move within Riverdale, BX was safe, efficient, and timely, especially when considering the circumstances. I am sure that my wife and newborn daughter will enjoy our new home. PS - I have already tipped in cash.

We had 2 helpers the morning of our move. The company let us pick our own start time and accommodated a time change easily two days before due to issues picking up our U-Haul. Fast communication. Both helpers moved extremely fast and efficiently. They wrapped some of our furniture that we did not get around to and did not cause any damage to any of our property. We moved two locations into one truck and after the first location, they swiftly drove to the other location and worked hard and fast to accomplish moving out the second apartment. The helpers 'tetris-ed' our U-Haul very well and stayed within our time frame. Thank you for your help, Dante and Chris!

Anthony and his team were outstanding. We've worked with a number of moving companies over the years and have never had a team show up on time, let alone early, before Tetris Wizards. Everyone was wonderful, They are people helping me. I wish you wouldn't have a rating or number system. Their help and interaction with me is beyond a measure or a number. They are not a machine that you measure or results you look at on a spreadsheet. I taught teenage and college students for many years and what we achieved and learned together is beyond measurement. We took tests to give us a focus, not to measure for reward or criticism. Please treat and pay the people who work with UHaul well. We all deserve and value that. Thank you.

Anthony the owner immediately contacted me after booking in order to allow ample time for me to answer all the standard questions, and was not only incredibly friendly in handling it, but promptly refunded me upon hearing that a lamp had accidentally broken during the loading process. This is what makes a quality business. If youve moved before, you know that something will break along the way, yet rather than having to harangue to be taken care when accidents happen, Anthony and Tetris just happily and immediately compensated for it. The cherry on top was that the incredibly kind and friendly movers, Ricardo and Juan especially, were happy to stay an extra half hour beyond the booking to make sure the job was done. Just wow. Best money I ever spent, and Im so happy to support people and a company overall like this. They absolutely deserve your business, and they have my sincere gratitude.

The company reached out and recommended a third mover to load a small one bedroom in NYC. We added the additional person as advised, and I monitored the whole move. For this reason, I constantly saw one of the individuals disengaged, standing idle for half an hour or more, which caused them to be delayed and take an extra hour (3 young men, 3 hours to move a small 1 bedroom with a reserved elevator). It was absurd and unacceptable (it took 2 older men less than 1.5 hours to unload the truck with an elevator that could not be reserved). I reached out to additional companies to verify that the delay was unfounded and discovered that their delay was unjustifiable especially as my partner and I watched one individual barely working the full time. Additionally, upon arrival we noticed that they lost the legs to our nightstands and broke our hamper. Highly discourage from using this company.
