I was told the truck mileage would be ,29 if I go 100 miles but would be .59 if I went under 100 miles so I intentionally went over 100 miles. I even made the comment that I needed to go over the 100 miles and both people laughed and said yes. Awful place and I will never use them again.

I've been a repeat customer of record over the months of April 2013 the present. Any kind of "frequent mover" program of discounts for me? I wouldn't move with anyone else; experienced the other guy while helping a relative and Penske's trucks, equipment, and pads were inadequate.

This was the second time I rented a 26' truck from this location in the past 90 days. The first time was fine. This time the fuel level on my contract indicated the truck was FULL. As I drove to my pick-up location, I noticed the fuel gauge showed less than 1/2 a tank. Since this was on a Sunday, I had a limited amount of time to move due to the rental center's later opening and earlier closing hours. Therefore rather than return to the center, I called and spoke to the person who rented me the truck, (Nate), and told him about the fuel discrepancy. He said the truck needed to be on a level surface for the gauge to register properly. I told him that it was on a level surface which he disputed. I advised him I was a building contractor for years and could recognize a level surface. He seemed somewhat exasperated and told me I would just have to "work with it". The truck kept dying at traffic lights and at highway speeds as well. When I arrived at my pick-up point the person who was to give me access had not shown up and considering the way the truck was performing I decided to cancel the move rather than have it break down with a load of valuables. As I had been warned about being penalized if I brought the truck back without filling it up with gas, I stopped and proceeded to put $100.00 worth of gas in it even though I had only driven it a relatively short distance. I phoned and advised Nate and told him I would be expecting some adjustment to be made. When I arrived at check in I was the only truck there. I waited for an attendant, as the sign indicated I should, and after 10 minutes I went inside. The only other person working there that day other than Nate, was a woman whose name I did not get. She walked past me without comment and headed for the truck. I went out and tried to explain that I had called Nate about the gas problem, but she ignored me. When I asked her how many miles I had driven, she did not acknowledge that I had spoken. She walked briskly past me and went inside and began making calculations of some sort. I again asked her how many miles and was again ignored. There were no other customers there. After a few minutes, she said, "you drove 35 miles". When I gave her my receipt for 32 gallons of gasoline, I asked what sort of adjustment they were prepared to make. She curtly replied, "you TOOK the wrong truck. I took the truck I was GIVEN. When I rented, I was the only customer. This woman drove the truck up outside and left it running with the driver's door open and when I walked outside she said, "you are ready to go". She stood by the truck while I transferred some items from my car into the back of the truck and she watched me drive away. Therefore her implication that I somehow was responsible for getting a truck without the proper amount of fuel was not based on the facts. I had to pry the amount of the credit from her. She announced it would be $72.00 which meant I was paying for appro

Great service and great people! All I wish could happen at least one time is to be able to do a one way drop off! It seems I always get the vehicle or truck that "you cannot do that" with! Also, one way ought to be just for the day rate, not some add on number that equals just doing round trip and return. IN my case, if I were allowed to do the one way, the price was about the same. I know it would have saved on gas cost but JUST charge a day rate and no drop off fee.

I was told I am not able to return a full box of bubble wrap simply because I cut the tape on top of the box. I consider this poor customer service as it's a full box of bubble tape that could have been returned and the guest me could've been refunded $20 back which would've made my experience great. However I will not recommend this location to any friends or family. The business lost due to me not being able to return this will far outweigh what my refund would have been.
