Truck was clean but had a strong smell of manure inside. Motel location was great however condition outside and motels occupants were questionable.

The bradford location I would never recommend a female go to on their own or even man at dark. It's at an older run down motel and the clientele hanging off the balcony were less than desirable. We showed up for our 5pm reservation 10 mins early and ended up having to call u haul support as the office doors were locked up with a "be back in an hour sign". The gentleman showed up about 5:15 and was pleasant. We did the walk around and any damage / scratches that did not have a sticker he didn't feel necessary to address so my father and law and I took photos of the entire truck while in the parking lot before leaving. We had no issues with the equipment we had rented. I would recommend relocating your facility to an establishment that does not make you nervous to enter alone. ***I have lived in bradford my entire life and i currently live 5 mins out of town and this was the first time I was ever uncomfortable.

When conformation made insure accurate information. Where told equipment would be in Sutton but when we gott there we where informed that they didn't, have it and we would have to go to Bradford to get them. An extra 50 miles plus the extra inconvenience.

The location is out of a motel and although it was convenient the office was filthy. When I got into the van it smelt of manure (this really wasn't my main issue). The main cabin of the van was disgusting, when I got the van home I spent a good 45 - 60 minutes just cleaning it. This is not what I paid for!

As we are in a semi-rural area, it would help to have all of the kilometres included in the rental price. This would be more competitive with other cargo van rentals.

I feel bad saying this but the location was dirty and uninviting and the staff made us wait a long time to return the truck even though they knew we were there and waiting to finish up business. They kept telling us they'd be a minute but we waited quite a while.

Although the actual location was not appealing the gentleman was helpful and went out of his way to accommodate my booking, as the actual u haul rep on the phone had changed what I had originally booked, and when I called the company they were basically like that's what we have available.

When booking, my preferred pick-up location was Newmarket - Harry Walker - it wasn't until I checked my reservation that I found out the pick-up location was changed to Bradford. Slightly inconvenient.

We had the trailer booked for 2:00 and when arrived we were told the guy that dealt with the uhaul was coming back at 4:00. At least he came back at 2:30 instead of 4:00

Unfortunately moving blankets were almost all out so I'd suggest owner gets in more. Only had 4 and gave them to us for free which was a very nice gesture

We were told the wrong information... We were told that we could drop off any time and the next day the 4th I had the guy from the comfort motel harassing and calling me asking where the truck was ? This is unacceptable when I was told one thing and then being harassed .. I would like head office to contact me at the number in our file.. Thanks

I was given the wrong information as I was told that there was a location in woodbridge to drop off after hours. Which there wasn't. I drove around for two hours wasting gas for the rental plus my own personal vehicle. I will never rent from uhaul again. I talked to a customer service supervisor and I got major attitude and she could care less about my struggles caused by uhaul.

This pick up location was fine. My complaint is with the UHaul representative who called me to confirm my pick up location. She was from the "traffic" department and told me that there wasn't a 16 ft truck available for my order but she was going to give me a 10 ft truck and a trailer instead. My complaint is that there was NEVER an apology or even a slight bit of empathy provided. I ordered a 16 ft truck because that's what I needed for moving large items. A 10 ft truck and small trailer may be same "theoretical" capacity but wouldn't work for me. Your representative simply said "that's all I have available" and made NO EFFORT to help. Even when I ask about the capacity of the 10ft truck, she said she didn't know? How can a UHaul rep not know simple answers such as this? I asked if she could look it up and she responded with "no I can't". No? Is this the type of customer service an International Company such as UHaul is known for? Very puzzling...So I was left to go on your website, to look up the capacity while I spoke with "your" representative. Somehow, I think that scenario isn't the way it should be, especially when you called me to tell me that you couldn't provide me the truck I originally asked for???? I then called your customer service department to complain and the girl was distracted as she spoke to me and insincerely apologized for the concern and offered to see what she could do to get me the 16 ft trailer. This really confused me???? How is it that you now have a 16 ft trailer available for me, when only minutes before when I spoke to the traffic department to confirm my order, there wasn't one available? She said she was double checking and thought she might be able to find something for me? So I ask you, UHaul leadership, why wouldn't have every step been taken to provide me with my 16 ft truck order BEFORE you called me to disappoint me with the news that you only had a 10 ft truck available? Again, I am confused by your lack of concern for your paying customers? Not sure how UHaul got to be such a large International company by not showing any compassion or concern for their customers. Please escalate this concern to the appropriate department and feel free to listen to the "recorded phone conversations" that took place and see for yourself how compassionate and caring your staff is for your customers.

I will never go there again it was filthy, the office reaked of urine and feces. I have never been to a more disgusting place in all my life. We should have walked and cancelled our order immediately, even the smell in the van was unbearable. It was a horrible experience.

The call center was polite and had taken my request for a small 20 foot truck to be rented for a Saturday. I called in advance so I was sure that I wouldn't have any issues... To my surprise I get a call that the truck is not available two days prior to my moving date, but a truck from another location that was farther away was available and needed to be returned by 2:00 pm. I needed to argue that I needed the truck for the full day and finally they agreed. Way to much anxiety than I needed prior to a move.. It seems that overbooking is the policy for U-Haul!!! With the mileage charges it makes sense to have a customer drive almost 50 miles to get a truck when there is a dealer located right around the corner. So who paid for that?? I did almost doubled my mileage and fuel use. Would I use U-Haul again??? No I would not!!!!
