• I paid for and expected two movers. Unfortunately, the second person didn’t show up which made my move a bit more difficult than I had planned. He did give me a refund which I was grateful for but he wasn’t able to help unload since just loading the U-Haul took 3 hours. If you’re moving, I suggest you plan to have additional help or a back up in case things like this happen. The mover was friendly and apologized which I appreciated but it definitely would’ve helped if there was a 2nd person because the move would’ve been faster and they would’ve been able to help unload as well within those 3 hours.

• Damage to a couple of items and a couple of walls. Took several frequent breaks and then before the job was done said my time was about up. After a discussion about it they did finish the job. I have hired moving help many times and try to be mindful of all conditions before reviewing. If you only need help for 1 hour, they would probably be ok to use. Anything longer than that i would not recommend them. I will not be using them again.

• These movers were not a good match for us, we experienced the worst moving day in the history of moving by bringing these two incompetent men and trusting them to do their job. We will never again hire movers who claim to be ‘labor only’ movers. We needed help with packing and lifting and dismantling, and wrapping our antique furniture that they broke or damaged. They were not careful. They were rushing us so they could go to the next job. Terrible service.

• I will not be hiring these individuals again, nor do I recommend their services to anyone. The lead helper repeatedly ignored instructions to place labeled items in their designated rooms inside the house, instead continuing to leave them in the garage. Despite multiple conversations with him and his crew emphasizing that items needed to go inside, they failed to follow directions. Additionally, one of the workers seemed more interested in chatting than actually unloading. They also caused significant damage during the unloading process, and we are still discovering damaged items. Their service was absolutely unacceptable - great communication during booking, but a complete failure in execution.

• Owner is not friendly and doesn’t listen to where you want boxes placed in garage. We told him to put them on right side so I could park my car. He put them in front of garage. We had to move them.

• They kept delaying the arrival time originally 11 then 1 then 215 finally came guys didn’t have anything as apparently the movers who were supposed to come has car troubles barely had supplies to do the job . Did their best but also dropped and broke a bookshelf and when asked what they were going to do we were told they didn’t get paid much nothing they can do about it. Could have been a pleasant experience but it was overall horrible and I have done mover many times no issues til now

• Our 5 U-boxes from U-haul were delivered by MovingHelp. Alan Renteria, the driver, reached out via email & text several days ahead. He was very responsive and was extremely helpful. 1st, the U-haul app wasn't working so I couldn't upload pics of where place the U-boxes. He went above and beyond and found a picture on Google maps and we figured it out. Then there was miscommunication with U-haul themselves. We were told that we could have the U-boxes on our property for the amount of time we needed, the monthly rental fee would continue while we had them. Found out that Moving Help delivers the U-boxes on trailers and the trailers can't be kept. I started to panic, but Alan worked with his manager and made it so we could keep them up to a week if we needed. Then the last trailer had something wrong with it so he couldn't drop it and leave it, so he actually helped unload the u-box so he could take it back that night. We couldn't have done this without all of Alan's help.

• I thought I was hiring professionals who would know how to properly load a U Box. The owner and supervisor whined about the heat the entire time, even though he didn't do a lot of heavy lifting. His workers came from Craigslist. My U Boxes haven't arrived yet; I don't know how much has been damaged. I'm dreading their arrival. I was supposed to move on July 7. I'm not sure what happened between this mover and U Haul but I really don't appreciate that my move was delayed a day and a half by the people who were hired to make sure it went off without a hitch. This was a very disappointing experience. I wish I had spent the extra $300 to get real professional movers and not part time gig hunters who really didn't care about my things, even though they were being paid to care. I also don't like how he wanted to be paid in cash for a third U Box that U Haul and movinghelp.com couldn't coordinate between their software. I can't believe this review site is asking for a tip for the helpers.
