My dolly was broken! It was very frustrating for me because I am a petite girl and was moving heavy things alone. I didn't realize that the guy had given me a broken dolly until I got to my location. I was shocked. Obviously, I really needed a dolly. Why give me a broken one? Check all the equipment before you give it to a customer, and don't give a girl a broken dolly in order to save some money or what not. I had a terrible experience moving my furniture that day.

The staff there is so nice and friendly. They were very thoughtful and helpful. This is the answer I got when I told the staff that they are very nice - "you have a lot of worries on your mind with the move, we are here to eliminate all other distraction." WOW WOW WOW!!!

This was my 3 experience with this location and its was greatly horrible I where 1 of your the customer service worker was very disrespectful toward my business and towards me hanging up the phone multiple time try to over charge me was not listening to my requested and taking matters personnel instead of doing his job as a customer service attendant and has turn my day very bad and made decide to drop the van without event being done with the rental . Plus I had call to ask to talk to a manager yestrday with no success and I still wich to talk to a manenger ASAP . Note it was not every attendant was nasty to me but one who I think may have a personnel hate toward me and I don't now why . Am out of town rite now but when I get back I will go back to da location to confront her rudeness toward me for no reason I had spend $500 .00 on da location in those 3 visited so I could not been I bad customer . thank you and am not done with this mater .

The customer service rep must have been a new employee for he asked me for information that was completed in the on-line express check out forms. The reps did not explain the delay in providing me with a vehicle. They seemed to have trouble with locating keys. However, I cannot confirm this.

I checked in online - had my van in 2 mins, and then amazing new check out technology. Done in 45 secs and I didn't even need to go inside. Well done - I hate waiting in lines!

My rental experience was very good overall. I was somewhat confused about my final bill. This was due to the fact that I had intended to only rent the vehicle one night, however there were bad thunderstorms while driving so I decided to rent the van a second day, as I was more concerned about safety, and felt I should not rush in the inclement weather.

I found the staff at this location to be less than friendly or efficient. The woman who checked us in and gave us keys was informative but not welcoming. Then it took a while for us to get the van and the kid doing the check didn't seem to know which way was up. When we returned it, we stood around for several minutes while waiting for someone to check us in when we finally figured out that there were 2 employees hanging out in a van instead of doing their jobs. I recommend this place in a bind because it is so big and they have a lot of vehicles but having rented plenty of uhauls, this is not my favorite location in Brooklyn.

I had no issue with the service or professionalism of the team at the two U-Haul locations I dealt with. The incompetence I was exposed to was from the calling center that acts as a liaison between the customer and the U-Haul branch that party may use. I was lied to and rushed off the phone when I requested a confirmation that my truck was ready for pick up. The "guaranteed" reservation was a manipulation on paper on on the phone to get me to the location only to find out there was NO truck ready. This happened several times this past weekend. The genius of setting up these systems makes no one accountable for the customer wasting their time. This is not ethical an unacceptable. Please do something about this.

the fuel gage was not accurate from the start. It needed to be manually adjusted. as soon as I left the uhaul center, the gas gauge pin then moved significantly. the 6-8 miles I drove does not agree with the $17 in gas charges......

The first person at the counter was speaking very softly, we could barely hear her, and we were obviously annoying her by asking to repeat her self. She seemed to not care to be there. Then we encountered a very nice attendant at the parking lot who gave us the truck and equipment. One of the equipments we rented ( a furniture dolly) had a wheel broken. The move took much, much longer than we anticipated, and we called to let the facility know. The attendant one more time (but I am not sure if it was the same person) could not make her self understood. This is not a matter of accent. She just seemed not to care. Finally, when we returned the truck, we followed signs coming from 6th St to enter in front of the store's door, pull up to the end and leave the keys. We were yelled at and accused of cutting the line. We explained which signs we followed and the parking lot attendants were rude and unprofessional. Inside, though, the attendant at the counter was different from the one in the morning and did everything she could to help us. She actually let us know about a box that had been left in the truck. We felt that we could have been much better treated as customers. We left with about $100 down, a very long day, and a very bad experience at U-Haul at 4th Ave and 6th St in Brooklyn, NY.

Minor problem due to an 11:00 pm (after closing time) drop-off. Drop-off was okay but the e-mailed bill reflected a charge for gas that was incorrect because a manual change to the gas tank level on the rental sheet wasn't factored in to the gas tank level when I returned the van. However, when I called a couple of days later to point out the over-charge, it was quickly corrected by a very nice lady named Hazel in your call center. Thanks.

Customers need your vehicles in an emergency to pick up materials. you advertise $19.95 to use your vehicles. The pick up location has restrictions forcing a customer to higher price vehicles. Eg: I am being told I cannot rent a $19.95 vehicle one way I must the next unit which is $170.00 This is unfair. some facility are cheaper than others. I rented your unit on 05/05/14 pick up and return same location for$75.33 The facility would not give me a $19.95 unit
