CARLOS CWhen I reserved the trailer I was told it had automatic brakes, which is why I rented the size I did. My car specifically needed to tow a trailer with brakes for the weight I'd be towing. When I picked up the trailer, I asked about the brakes and was told that only the largest trailers come with automatic brakes and that all other trailers just have brake lights. This put me in a bind about the safety of towing the trailer behind my vehicle and made me extremely nervous to drive across country.
