They forgot to put in the equipment i ordered. One employee was rediculoisly rude to me when i called, but working with the manager, we got everything squared away. I would still recomend uhaul to anyone moving. Just check that you have everything you ordered before you leave.

I was given a drop off point called Gator Truck Stop by the issuing pick up point. A day before returning the truck, I called the place and I was told that they cannot accommodate the 2 trucks that I rented.I was told to call the call center to arrange a different drop off point which I did. As I was trying to explained my frustrations, I was disconnected. I called again, the person on the phone was not helpful at all. She brushed me off and told me to call the customer service to arrange a different drop off off point. So I called as I was instructed. The person on the phone understood my position and after being on the phone for at least 30 minutes I was given a new drop off location. The entire process took me at least an hour and a half before the problem was resolve. No customer should be subjected to this treatment. A single phone call to a call center or customer service should be enough. It is the responsibility of the company to make all the necessary arrangements. The customer should never be subjected to this kind of treatment. I have been a long time customer of uhaul but I have never encountered any difficulties in the past. My hope is for the company to become more customer friendly and efficient in implementing protocols. At this point it is hard for me to recommend uhaul to anybody.

Check engine light was on. The gentleman was RUDE! Someone put air in the tank and I could not put gas inthe tank.

Agent who helped install the trailer was a bit rude. He initially told me that I "should move my car" from the spot I initially parked in. When I told him that I was here to pick up a trailer and would be moving it shortly, he rudely responded that "that spot was for trucks only". I knew I would be there for only 10 mins and hooking up a trailer which was right next to the spot, but it was not the best greeting upon arrival....

My issue came when I went to pick up the truck reserved, and found that the resravation was not for the three day period requested, but was for only 7 hours. They would not rent the truck. Fortunately I was able to get a smaller truck, but this required two trips be made, which doubled the mileage, and created and unplanned inconvenience. Good for U-Haul, bad for me. John at the rental facility counter was very efficient, and was working under a lot of pressure with many customers all at once when I came in. Please say thanks to him!

In the back of the truck it says save 25$ bring it back clean well it was and where was my 25$ no where false advertisment on top its really expensive there all these other charges definetly not again unless i get my money

The truck and moving equipment were supposed to be in Harford, not New Britain. Uhaul wasted my assistant's and my valuable time which cost me approximately half a day's productivity. I will never do business with your Hartford location. On the other hand, I was thoroughly impressed with the New Britain operation and will make point of contacting them directly.

Door was broken and I had to bungee cord it together. Called road side service and they estimated an hour wait just to come look at it. Tried getting a hold of the location and they never called me back. When we arrived to return, no one came out to take care of the return. When John the owner came out to handle someone else's business and we asked to talk to him, he told us to wait in line and it would be a 45 minute wait. Terrible customer service.

The employees at this location were friendly and helpful but the way the system is designed to have off site personnel taking customer calls and making reservations creates a huge amount of confusion and aggravation for everyone.

The steering wheel had a little too much 'play' in it so it was a little tough keeping it straight, but it was not unsafe, just annoying. I was told the truck would go in for maintenance to fix the problem.

The place and people at the location were nice. Everything was ok until it came to returning the truck at the end of the day. The checkout system tried to charge me an extra day, nearly doubling the cost of my rental. After waiting around for awhile to speak to the right person, my receipt was finally fixed to charge me only the 1-day in town rental I had signed up for.

You need to provide a scheduled time option on your web site. I recieved 3 separate messages informing me that not only the time, but the location of my reservation had changed. Due to the volume and randomness of the messages it didn't give me enough time to properly review them properly and make arrangements to change the time of the pickup. Please include a pickup time on your website.

I reserved a time for 11am for the rental of the truck and when I arrived to the location, I was told my reservation time was for 2pm. Despite the fact that I received a confirmation email that stated I reserved the truck for 11am at that location. I was very displeased with the treatment I received and I will never recommend Uhaul again. I'd rather send more money and use a competitor!

The only problem was with your internet site. I was supposed to be picking up a truck in bristol ct but then found out that bristol over booked there trucks and they had to send me to new britian for pick up. They made me pay for the extra milage that I got by going to a store further away. Im not sure why I would have had to pay that seeing as it was uhaul of bristol who made the mistake. But over all everything was great!!
