I was quoted a 39.99 truck rental. Boy was I surprised to pay 92 bucks when it was all said and done. Cross town move, nickel and dime for everything that this company use to offer as a convenience.

Clean the truck before releasing to a customer. Cab floor was littered with candy wrappers, and windshield was dirty and crusted with dried up insects.
Will never rent Uhaul again!

The call center reserved the wrong size trailer for me. They didn't have any available in the size i reserved. I had to make two trips because the trailer they did have wasn't big enough.

The only problem that we had was that we got a call looking for truck at Lake Ozarks MO after we had already delivered it in Lake St. Louis where we had them that it was being delivered.

I did have difficulty removing the trailer upon return because nobody was there/facility was closed. Perhaps advise the next person taking a trailer that, these are heavy and they might want to bring someone along to drop it off if after hours. I used my car jack to lift until the trailer cleared the ball, then lowered it slowly and chocked the tire so it wouldn't roll while I did that. Thanks!

The representative was not focused on my rental. There was a temporary problem with the trailer lights, but instead of staying with me, he left to help another customer, telling me I could work with the circuit tester myself if I like (I declined, not knowing how to correctly use it). The circuits turned out to be fine - he just hadn't taken the time to be sure the plug and adapter were fully engaged. He complained about how buy Saturday morning were and that delays had to be expected, but I'd say U-Haul needs to staff up for normal rush times, or at least not make excuses.
I had gone on-line to get the trailer dimensions, but the actual dimensions were different, which caused a problem when I got to my destination. The trailer itself was fine, as was the return process.

I reserved the trailer with a Cadillac but arrived with a 2013 Ford Explorer(with a factory installed trailer hitch) yet was told "U-Haul does not allow any Ford Explorers to tow U-Hauls since 2003. I was forced to return home and switch cars, which added 90 minuted to my travel plans.
Very disappointed. No options or explanations were provided.
Plan to write to both UHaul and Ford Corporate headquarters.
