In general, the merchant was good. But they forgot to hand back my license and credit card and I had already driven 12 miles, I had to turn back, so there went 24 miles, all she said was "sorry" and didn't offer a discount. I'm not a fan of u haul, but we had no choice, needed a truck to move a storage unit. I think u haul charges way too much and relies on the hidden "oops" fees which are unlawfully absurdly high. This overnight truck rental set us back $210. Including $20 in gas. I understand you're in the business of making money, but this is just absurd. I won't be using u haul ever again.

The location was convenient for the area I was moving to and from. The truck was clean, but it must have been really old. The steering kicked around a lot more than other uhaul trucks I have driven in the past and the ride was extremely rough on the highway. The owners/managers at Goin Postal were very accommodating and removed the dolly from the truck so it wouldn't be in the way for me (this location has blankets and dolly in the truck and you are charged if the zip ties are removed, whether you have used them or not).

The person that we rented the unit for was rude, they charge me for cleaning the truck when I clean it myself and the only part that I maybe missed was the edge of the ramp where it goes under the truck. It is ridiculous to charge me 25.00 when I clean the truck is just an excuse.

I picked up my u-haul rental to move my mother's king size bed from one location to another and a few tables. I only used the unit for 4 hours. Brought it back in the same condition as I picked it up. They are now charging me $25 for cleaning the back. The back was in the same condition I picked it up in. When I picked it up, all they were concerned with was making sure I bring it back with the same amount of fuel and to bring it back within 4 hours because it was on hold for someone else. They never told me to make sure the back is clean. I have several witnesses to contradict that the few pieces of furniture that I moved did not caused what they swept together in the back of the truck which is very little and looks like saw dust with small pieces of wood and a screw. All of that was already in the back but when not swept together it is very minimal. They are charging me for something the previous renter before me left behind, or it could have been an accumulation of debris over several rentals, who knows, but all I know I am being charged a $25 fee. They never mentioned to me at the time of rental to make sure I check the back for cleanliness and nothing was highlighted in the contract stating that I would be charged and the amount that I would be charged. I could see me getting charged if I had left trash in the back. This has left a very negative reflection on U-Haul and the people they contract with to provide rental trucks.

Not only was the service person nasty and desrespectful but she refused to take the truck at her location. She said she had to many trucks already. I left the keys and told her that it was U-hauls problem not mine. Also make me sweep and fold blankets that were rented or she would change me $50. Will never rent anything from U-haul.

4 hours after I picked my U-haul up from the plano location, the owner of the San Antonio location requested that I return the U-Haul that same day when I got there. I informed him that I would not be able to do that. The owner then called me a few hours later requesting the U-Haul. I then informed again that I could not. The next day, after a long move, I was contacted again at approximately 08:00 AM. I told the owner I would have the U-Haul back later in the day. The owner called me back an hour later requesting the early return. At this point I did not answer his phone call. I was then contacted by a U-Haul representative out of the traffic division informing me the truck was due back, which I informed her my contract reflected that I still had another day. I returned the U-Haul later that day. I was then charged a $25.00 fee for cleaning, yet it was left in the same condition as when I picked it up. Overall the experience at U-Haul was extremely stressful and unpleasant because owner of the San Antonio location. I feel like the cleaning fee was a way for the owner to get back at me because I did not return it earlier than what my contract said.
