The after hours drop off was not a pleasant experience. The drive way was partially blocked (perhaps by another customer) and there was not enough space for my truck. It would have been better if there were clearer signs to direct customers where to park so that the parking space is not wasted by incorrect parking.

The Truck was shaking a lot and there is a sudden gush of hot air through the vent when A/c is on. The truck just got only 45k miles on it. The truck is clean but is not well maintained.

From start to finish, it took less then 5 minutes to return the trailer. I got the receipt via email withing 30 minutes. The person that help me was very friendly.

The equipment was maintained and fairly clean but there was some oily residue spread across the floor of the trailer. However the process of renting was quick and the staff very helpful. I will be returning to this location and recommending it to friends :)

Get more counter people so someone will have time to answer phone. It takes to much time for a customer to be transferred to the central office when the questions may be short and to the point, e.g., double checking to time to pick up equipment or extending pickup time.

The vehicle had moving pads in it that we did not order. The mileage expense was surprising. We don't usually pay mileage at competitors. The $19.99 advertised cost was more like $55. Truck engines were left running for an extended time while checking vehicles. Pollution in this area is of major concern and engines should be turned off.

Jeff is always great to deal with, but I don't understand why he was working alone at 4:30 on a Sunday night, always a peak drop off time.
Also, I was told it would be fine to leave my car in the lot until I dropped off the van during the early hours of the morning, but when I did I found that so many trucks had come it after hours that I was almost boxed in - they filled the dropoff lane, spilled into the area next to it, and left us only a tiny exit that took some maneuvering to get out of. You clearly need to have someone come in late just to clear the trucks that have been returned, or earmark some parking with an easy exit lane.
I'm not sure I will rent from you again if I"m looking at the same time constraints.
Also, it's 24 hours later and i haven't been emailed a final receipt. So I guess I'm not very satisfied with this experience overall.

I reserved a truck at the Santa Clara location for a 7pm pickup. Then I received a call about 2 hours later from a customer service person saying that truck was no longer available, and that I would need to go to Sunnyvale for my pickup because that was the only other facility that had a pickup at that time. This was already a big inconvenience because I live in Santa Clara and that involved a 20 minute detour in some crappy traffic. I arrived at the Sunnyvale location at about 7:10 due to the traffic, and all the lights were off with no employees anywhere. That facility actually closed at 7:00 so I was screwed. I missed my pickup on the day that I absolutely needed to be moving. This meant that I had to take the following day off work, costing me a ton of money. I eventually found out that Sunnyvale location doesn't allow any pickups after 6:30 since they close at 7:00, so I'm wondering why on earth the customer service person who moved my reservation told me that I would be able to do a 7pm pickup??? This was absolutely the worst moving experience of my life, and when I complained to the worker who helped me the following day, he said I would be receiving a credit for all of the hassles your people caused me. Turns out I was charged full price and nobody bothered to apologize. Unless somebody contacts me to fix the wrongs, I will be going straight to yelp and then letting all of my friends know to use ANYBODY other then uhaul. -Scott Forster email: solarscottforster@gmail.com

truck was not available at time promised. had to settle for a smaller truck. U-haul was not apologetic at all and after standing around for 45 minutes I had to ask what was going on and to give me what they had available. I am very disappointed.

I was happy with all services. This location seems to be run very well. There are other stores tha tmake no sense, such as the one on the corner of Prospect Road and Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. El Camino location in Sunnyvale is superior. Alex Arroyo is a delightful gentleman. He was very thorough explaining the policy and the best way to make the most of my experience; Alex is great! Thank you.

The truck was fine. The trailer tire straps did not fit around one of the front tires ( strap was to short). So instead of replacing the strap, they put a storage thin strap over the tire. It fell off within the first 20 miles and I had to fix it. Luckily it did not get stuck in the wheel well or axle.
