The wait time for my equipment and assistance was horrible. And nobody seems to know what to do...they kept having to ask for help. Plus, they looked at the gas level from outside the vehicle and said it was 1/4 tank. I told the woman it was lower and she marked it on her paper. Imagine my surprise when I dropped the vehicle off and they told me I needed to bring the gas back to 1/4 tank...it was never updated in the system! So I ended up dropping off the vehicle with more gas than it had when I received it! They need to fill up every vehicle before renting it, so there is no question how much gas is in it. Plus, I had to fill up before I even got started on my trip!
Location not visable. Difficult to locate from behind auto dealership. Need better signage.

rented a uhaul from west valley marine an rv in avondale arizone. everything was good, the truck was clean, everyone was real friendly, up until it came down to returning the truck. i was over charged 2 days an was told i had to wait till my balanced cleared in my bank account before they could refund my money, so i was a good guy an waited a week for it to clear my bank account then went back. we did all the paperwork an they "supposedly" refunded the money to my account, here we are a week later an i still have nothing, so i have decided to take just count it as a loss an move on. the best part is, the final time i was their, this business was doing the same thing to another customer until i opened my mouth an told the customer to make sure they dont over charge him. this is the last time i rent from here

This is my first time renting with U-Haul and I had a great experience so far with the staff at the retailer. Price was okay. However, I was planning on renting for just 1 day, but after I towed my car home, I could not open the door to get it out of the dolly. It was Sunday and the car dealer was closed that day. So I ended up paying 2 days for my rental. I called U-Haul to ask if they could waive me one day in my renting but they said I had to fill out my issue in this review to see if I can be reimbursed on the second day. Therefore, I would like to ask if you could solve this problem for me. Please get back to me and if everything is settled down nicely, I would definitely recommend U-Haul to other people I know. Thank you.

Are all of your people worthless? Considering U-Haul is a garbage company I'd say so. I'm never using you dumb fucks again.
Make sure your trucks have gas for the customer. I don't appreciate having to fill up your trucks first thing after picking it up.
The place is so large, it would be helpful to have some signs that indicate where to bring trailers. I stopped twice before I found where I needed to go within the facility itself.

Every U-haul should say and do the same thing. Same name you expect same service. The pick up smelled like dog.
The employees were nice, but the furniture pad situation needs to be fixed. We reserved 2 dozen furniture pads only to be told when I asked for them that they didn't have any, nor did any Uhaul in the west valley. This left me scrambling to find another way for the movers I hired to protect my furniture (the alternative was inferior to furniture pads and resulted in some scratched furniture). I should have been notified before hand that something I reserved was not available so I could have prepared.

Worst service I could have received. Employees not helpful or knowledgeable. Not very clean and friendly atmosphere.
did not like the service as far as explaining the whole rental process. And didn't like the that the gas tank was only given to us with a 1/4 tank of gas. Also when trying to return the truck the back gate was locked and we had to ask the car lot close by if we could park the truck there. customer service did not try to make clear the fact that we understood anything. they seemed to be short with us.
The gentleman that waited on us was very helpful and friendly. Checking out was a lot quicker than the checking in process.

The office was antiquated and the furnishings flimsy. There was a job interview for some sort of mechanic position taking place in the only seats in the office. The young lady was mechanical and not friendly when the truck was returned.
It was a little unclear where we were supposed to take the trailer but the gentleman working there was very helpful and all worked out just fine.
Do not release trucks to other customers which have already been reserved by others. It was a busy moving weekend. Trucks are in demand. So, no time extensions should be granted. The trucks need to be returned promptly. Someone on duty let a customer keep a truck a little longer. This in turn left a customer waiting, so as a courtesy to them, they gave my truck away. I show up to get my truck only to find it has been given away. I then took a smaller truck which was due back in 30 minutes. It did show up on time only because the lady at the counter said there was a customer waiting on it. The action taken toward that customer should have been the action taken with the other. My situation would have been avoided all together.
Needs better organization and updated facilities.

The wooden trailer was beginning to look beat up. Service both inside and from the outside guys was excellent.
