The rear tires were so bald with no traction that I could not drive on my lawn which resulted in me returning the items at the to my storage unit adding 160 miles on the rental and paying an additional months rent at the storage unit. This fiasco cost me approximately $350.00 as I could not carry my items the distance even with a handtruck and with no additional assistance I now have to wait until another vehicle with adequate tires is available. If I can get another vehicle for the weekend it will cost me more money as the rates are higher than a mnidweek rental The rental agent says the tires are bald because U-Haul over-inflates them so they wear out excessively in the center rendering the vcehicle useless on anything other than pavement because there is no weight over the rear wheels on a van or rear wheel drive truck which help with traction.
