No one came out to check the lights on the trailer and if it had the right number on the trailer

This location is 40 miles away from where I actually reserved the trailer. Not their fault, but I wouldn't recommend a friend drive there.

Also picked up a truck and car hauler at Barrett's in Wisconsin Rapids was very unhappy with that experience. He offered no help. Another person was picking up a trailer and helped us. He also said he wasn't happy either.

Renting a trailer could not be any easier. I rented a motorcycle trailer and was extremely satisfied with both the service and the trailer itself. Will definitely rent again.

Trailer was missing a tie down point in front right corner but otherwise was acceptable. The u haul computer was slow and had problems when I reserved, picked up and returned trailer. Also the vehicle info portion is out of date when it asks if vehicle has 6cyl or v8, my '11 F150 has a 6cyl ecoboost that has more power and tow rating than the v8.

I confirmed my reservation of a 26 ft truck at 2pm on Friday, the day prior to pick up. I was then contacted at 7pm that night telling me the truck was unavailable because it was booked after mine and would not be available. I was then told only a 14 ft truck was available or I could drive to the next nearest location which was 2 hours away to get a 26ft truck. I was very frustrated and disappointed. I called U-Haul and was able to reserve a 20 ft truck which I had to make two trips instead of one, so cost me more money to move. Overall I am disappointed as I scheduled a week ahead of time and was told that there were no other reservations.

COLLEEN S. on 1/8/2014

The employee/personnel was not totally to blame, it was more because of the location and having to wait while he cashiered for all the other customers, even the ones who came after me because the uhaul station/drop off used a different cashier/computer and he had to have time to come out and inspect the truck; again not the employees fault but the fact that he was working alone, until another employee showed up but seemed new and was taking a long time to get her register up and going...she had to wait for the other employee to get her started on his register so he could go outside to inspect the truck and finish the paperwork. All in all good company and experience with uhaul renting but the waiting periods seemed long especially after a long day, or two, of packing, loading, driving, and unloading. Bottom line Need Two, not just One, employee working at all times to expedite things in a more timely manner.
