Made on line reservation. Very convenient. I was able to choose the vehicle, date needed, pick up and return time too. The process couldn't have been easier. Very courteous staff too.

My experience at this location was awful!!! I would not do business with them again. My reservation was changed and I was able to pick up closer to home which was very nice, but I had spoken with the other location for the auto transport. I asked about them helping with putting the car on the transport and securing it. She assured me that they would help me, no mention of a fee. There was nothing about a fee on the U-Haul website when I was getting a quote. But was informed that there was a fee when I got to the summer location. They were not very nice after I complained about it. No one told me that the truck needed to be loaded before putting the auto transport on the U-Haul truck and that it would all have to be taken off, the car and the transport. People that rent U-Haul's on the average do not know these things and there needs to be better communication. I feel it's the company's responsibility to inform their customers. This is the only location were the two people, the manager and an associate were not happy, kind and helpful. I would never recommend this location to anyone.

It was an above average Saturday, and the staff was very professional. I had to have the wiring harness installed on my Nissan Titan prior to my rental being approved. They got me in and out in a timely fashion. Everyone was very helpful.

You overcharged me by one day. I brought the 5X9 trailor in at 5pm yesterday. I handed my contract to Miles and he said someone would be around to unhook me and give me a yellow form. I waited 15 minutes.. NO ONE SHOWED UP... saw all your employees leaving. So I unhooked it and left.. Credit my card one day, 99479796. Brent Bush

The 'general manager' was pretty rude on pickup and return. On the return, we stated that the air in the truck was not working properly and was only lukewarm. He said we were hot from moving and not an issue with the air conditioner. The rest of the conversation we had was very argumentative, and we weren't discussing anything to do with UHaul. He wasn't even the person handling the return. Very strange conversation, I must say. Everyone else that assisted us with the rental was great. Very friendly and helpful.

Rental process very impressive, the truch was not new but it ran and the AC was cold. The return process very good, the the check out process was a little messed up and yes when I got home and rested and realized what happened I was not happy, I called back and ask for the mgr but he was out picking up trucks so I spoke with the clerk who checked me out and explained that I was charged for items not used and charged for a second day. She said "I'm sorry but I just started and not familiar what to do" then she got another clerk and refunded the $75 dollar over charge. No I can say yes they did a good job but what about the other guy that didn't call back to complain. Thank you, Charles McFall

Truck was horrible. Door wouldn't close, leaked, half the tie down braces in the back were broken, fuel gauge was messed up, wouldn't start at times, rode like a wagon in the old west, over head door wouldn't close without excessive force, license plate fell off (even after we discussed the plates condition at pick up we were told to worry about it. I was afraid to take the truck on any type of interstate because it would not reach 65mph, even empty. Over all, next time I would just refuse the truck.

This was a very bad experience from the start ! First we were sent to a location that didn't have our reservation even though our confirmation email was clear and to them. Next after going to what was suppose to be the correct location the 20' trailer that was requested May 31, and confirmed by U-Haul was not available. We had to take a 14'er and double our trips which was time wasted. The manager did attempt to help by cutting the mileage charge in half. Clearly a case of overbooking equipment requests for equipment.

There should be more information on operating a truck with an auto transport trailer attached for backing up purposes. I had a really hard time operating the equipment trying to back up.

My only complaint is being a person who is disabled the experience was a little troubling. I was asked to move my truck when I first got there so I did then after the nice young man connected the trailer to my truck, then after moving around to the exit and have to go back in to sign the paperwork. I was asked to move my truck further around the building. I had my daughter move it. The problem was it was very busy and I can not walk very far. Having to go back in again was a little crazy I hope you can work this kink out so others who have such disabling problems will be better served. Every one was very courteous and kind. Your people di a great job considering it was the 1st of the month and Saturday.

My sister, Argyle Claxton Read, and I were treated VERY POORLY by the U-Haul phone reps in Phoenix ("Catherine," whose supervisor is Luis Romero). However, Danielle Martinez, Memphis district manager, was great, as were the people at the Summer street depot.

The truck I was given has no tail lights on the passenger side. Wiper blades sucked. Truck shook uncontrollably when you get over 40mph. The brakes felt like they were going to go out. And I only drove 32 miles but had to put in $30 in gas just to get the marker on full!

It started to rain the day I moved and I had everything loaded in the truck. I get over to my new house and unload my mattress and the entire bottom of it and the boxes on the right side of the truck were soaked. I said something to the attendant the next day and he had a not my problem attitude and referred me to a number. I will never use y'all again.
