Erica SThe truck I was assigned was terrible. The steering wheel and actual wheels do not face in the same direction. The alignment is so bad that you constantly have to steer to the left. The slightest bump in the road will send it everywhere. The mirrors are nearly seized in place making them impossible to adjust. The headlights face off the right side of the road. The truck had a check engine light when I picked it up. It is irresponsible for you guys to keep renting this particular truck to people. You are putting peoples lives at risk by renting poorly maintained dangerous vehicles. If someone who is not accustomed to driving crap vehicles were to rent this truck it could be a bad situation. Also a less serious complaint is that the truck appeared semi-clean, but everything is sticky and feels absolutely gross, even the seatbelts feel diseased. Overall based on the way your equipment is maintained, I will never rent another U-Haul.

Terri EThe representative working inside American Mini Storage was not helpful. Verizon was down in area and we could not check out online. There was no one in location and she was not helping another customer. She was unwilling to lift a finger to help us. Almost two hours later she did finally complete check out. She definitely didn’t want to be bothered. We made a second trip back to location right before closing. Her systems were not down at location. The reason I know this is she was working on something else on her computer and that is why she was too busy to help us.

james hI wasn't given the option to use my own insurance, they charge .99 cents a mile, charged me for 5 days for a dolly when I only had the dolly for 1-2 days. I wasn't given the option to return the truck anywhere else. This place ended up costing me over $400. Moving is already expensive and frustrating enough, this was very disappointing.
Catherine AMake sure you don’t charge them for gas that was put back into the vehicle and I have proof I had gotten charged for the gas gauge being under which it wasn’t

Noel COnly issue I had was that I received a truck with only 3/4 of a tank of fuel and was told to make sure I returned it t he same 3/4 full. I dd exactly that by stopping at a gas station less than a mile away from the return facility and yet I sll ended up being charged just over $22 for fuel y uaul wen I used the 24/7 truck share return option that een had me take photos of the gas gage. I will not recommend se of the mobile app to anyone.

Melissa WCynthia and Lynn were very pleasant to work with. They tried to intercede with U-Haul on my behalf, but U-Haul would not budge. American mini storage is a top-notch and nicely run facility with immaculate units and grounds. My issue is with U-Haul. I was led to believe that my charges would be approx. $150 for 2 day rental depending on mileage. My final bill was almost $100 more. I do not know where the communication broke down, but I assure you that had I known the charges would be in excess of $250 I never would have rented the truck. The price “lure” on the side of the trucks is very misleading…even after add-ons this was an unreasonable charge for a small truck and local usage. Thank you American mini storage for your part but, I suggest using a different truck rental brand.

Kevin B24/7 ride share keys weren't in box and ordered a dolly and it was not in truck. Trying to pick up truck reservation was not working and the number I called everyone I talk to was rude transfer many times and only the last person I talk to was helpful.

Timothy TWhen I got to my destination I was unable to return the U-Haul at that facility even though it had a dropbox for the key and all the other outside key pick up but was unable to leave it at that location and had to drive 14 more miles out-of-the-way to find a U-Haul location. I was not able to reset anything on my app so I could even attempt to ask if I could leave the truck at this specific location because of us being crunched for time. I just don’t understand why I could not leave it where I have a storage building that also returned and picked up U-Haul‘s very inconvenient after a long day of moving And the white time to speak to someone was 30 minutes on the phone to ask a question about dropping it off .

Kirtley AWe did not receive a dolly, but paid for it, we were charged for not returning it. It should be required that someone check this when doing the mobile pickup since someone isn’t manually checking you in.
Jeremiah BI paid for my uhaul and was charged. I think everything is fine. Now 2 weeks later my card gets charged an extra $45. Be ware and double check your charges.

Trina TThe truck only had a quarter of a tank of gas in it. I expressed this information to the front desk when I picked the tuck up. I then return the truck within 24hrs at 12 noon on the next day. I also was asked to return the truck to a different location apon the employee requested. I was charged for gas and 2 day rental when I only had the truck for 24hrs. I will dispute charges with my bank I will also be posting on each Google review for BOTH locations. I will report credit card fraud!
Sarah BTruck was not ready when scheduled and no one could be reached. Had to wait over 2 hours for help and then some of the ordered supplies were not even available. Will not rent with uhaul again.

david vStaff was very unhelpful and was useless when it came to the trailer. She put the wrong drop off location, causing me a lot of extra gas and making double trips to drop the trailer off. She also did not check the trailer lights, nor did she check my truck or anything in regards of what the previous place did when I picked up the previous trailer. Shut this place down as a Uhaul location!

STEPHANIE SActually make the check-in process easier. It took us close to an hour to complete the check-in due to not being able to use my phone to do so. The issues were not with the location services on my phone either. I had to wait, on hold, two different times while trying to resolve the situation. Once the check-in finally went through, I was notified I still had to have the truck returned by 6:00pm even though I lost a complete hour. Another improvement would be to actually have the requested items in the truck at the time of rental. I requested an order of 10 moving pads and was charged for those pads; however, the pads were no where to be found. The remote online check-in is not that great in my opinion. I most likely will not be using Uhaul in the future nor will I recommend Uhaul to anyone else. Extremely dissatisfied.

STEWART ADropped truck off after hours so didn’t really see or speak to anyone. However, they could have better signage saying they are a U-Haul dealer. Not easy to find.
KAREN Whave used this location multiple times and its always quick and easy and courteous. I am confused as to why I do the pre check in scan my license etc yet still have to do that at the in person pick up. not just at this location some continue to do it, some say oh great your pre checked in? whats the point for the extra time? thanks
