Benjamin SI had a reservation booked for a one way trip and had selected a different drop off location for the vehicle return. When I arrived to pick up the U-Haul vehicle I was informed that they didn't have a 15ft vehicle for me which I had previously reserved. I was then offered a 20ft vehicle at a higher price and was told that was the best that they could do. After I refused to accept the higher charge the agent agreed to give me a 20ft vehicle at a discounted price. I was then told that they would have to cancel my previous reservation and start a new one. I advised the agent that i wanted to drop off the vehicle at the same location as I had requested on the original reservation. I had scheduled help to load the U-Haul and after being delayed I rushed back home to be there when our help arrived. When we finished unloading the U-Haul later that day I went to drop it off at the location that I had requested on my original reservation and was informed that there would be a charge as the contact indicated a different drop off location. It was close to 7pm and I rushed to the other U-Haul location to drop off the vehicle and they were already closed. We called the number on the fence at the U-Haul location and was advised to park the vehicle by the fence and drop the key in the key box by the fence which I did. I had a previous similar experience with U-Haul and I thought that it was just one of those days. However, I have seen a pattern of horrible customer service and I am truly disappointed with U-Haul and the unorganized way that your business is conducted. I am sorry to say that I will never go with U-Haul again and I could not in all honesty recommend U-Haul as a legitimate business. Perhaps this will help U-Haul focus more on better business practices to enhance your future customers experience.
