We had to wait quite awhile for someone to help us. When she finally did arrive at the desk she did not give us any instructions. after we left we found out that we had been charged a $25 cleaning fee. We had no idea that there was a “sticky substance” in one of the cup holders. First of all, we didn’t have any beverages in the truck when we drove it. And secondly, had we been informed of the issue we would’ve taken a rag and wiped it clean! The manager eventually credited us for the $25 fee.

This is a newer location at a motel in Fergus Falls. The hotel desk employees are also the UHaul contacts there. They are still learning the UHaul system, which created an error in my rental. Thankfully UHaul customer service was very helpful and issued a refund for the overcharge.

The check in lady was so helpful. The guy who was there to be "helpful" was so NOT helpful. The man wanted me to back the uhaul into a spot but could give me no directions as to how to do this correct or would not guide me in the process. Finally, I almost gave up and then he said just put in there and let's take this off. He wanted me to help me in the steps when I was reassured earlier I didn't have to worry on this. He was super unhelpful or friendly.

Had to wait over 10 minutes because no one was around and the phone to pic up rang and rang no one answered tried 3 different times finally had to yell is anyone here and then she came out. She said to pic up the phone for help and I explained to her I did 3 times. She didn’t realize it wasn’t working.

I rented a 9x5 trailer on your website. It asked me how long I wanted it. I put in one day to keep the cost down. When I picked it up,I was informed that I had it for a minimum of 3 days. If I would have known that, I would have rented it from my local uhaul and saved myself a lot of money. I purchased a riding mower over 200 miles from home and was going to be gone over the weekend so I thought I would save myself money and rent one from where I bought my mower and only have to pay for one day instead of the weekend. You should have it on the website that you are allowed to keep it for up to 3 days without additional charge. It would have only cost me about $50 instead of $150. I was thinking that it would have been more expensive to pick it up from my local store, keep it for the weekend and then drop it back off at the local store again because I would have to pay for 3 days of rent. If I had known I had it for a minimum of 3 days, I would have saved over $100. Please put it on your website that you have it for 3 days and then your customers will be a lot more satisfied.
