I asked for moving blankets and none were provided. i was billed for the blankets despite not receiving any and there was no way to get a refund. Other than that tbe lication was fine.

AMY SY’all tried to scam me. Return the vehicle before it was due back got a confirmation code to return the key got confirmation that the gas was above where it was supposed to be . Five days later you emailed me saying I never returned the vehicle. Five days later are you serious then I called In How do you say oh I see where you started the process of returning the vehicle and yes I see here the keys were returned But it looks like we’re still going to charge you for the whole week but once we charge you can do a dispute that may take a few weeks to get your money back I don’t think someone scam scam scam scam scam. I went through hoops to make sure that you guys wouldn’t scam my banking account

Sarah FThe online system is too difficult to navigate and it doesnt allow corrections. I forgot to refuel, I only went 25 miles, less than a gallon of gas. I was charged 19.75 for mileage and then another $21.60 fo 5.4 gallons of gas, which is not true. I was robbed of the $21.60. I called immedately and then was told I had to wait for the gas station to close out the rental. This was the worst experience with uhaul I have ever had. Mini mart staff extremely unhelpful also.
melissa mI was the driver and became very very ill during my rental, and returned my truck earlier and with a fraction of my anticipated miles. I had a friend finish the checkout process. I was charged $34 dollars for returning the tank between the 1/8 and 1/4 mark when it was at the 1/4 mark beforehand. We told the manager at the rental place our situation and she ensured us things would be fine. Uhaul has no compassion or understanding during COVID for a 1/16th of a tank?!

Lifeifan DStaff at RJ mini mart were not helpful and would not answer any questions. It was the first time I had to do an online pick up and had issues with the app. The staff did not seem to care and did not want to be bothered. Extremely frustrating experience. Would never go there again and advise others to pick up at another location.
Wendy GThe location was fine although the clerk inside knows nothing about the Uhaul process. The website/app did not function for my rental. I had reserved the vehicle for 8:30am, using the on-line system to pick up. When I arrived my phone said I had to wait for the store to open to get the key. I went home and came back an hour later to discover that the clerk in the store knows nothing about how the system works. Called Uhaul and was talked through the process, taking photos of my license etc etc, until we got to the point of unlocking the key box. No code. Call dropped. Call back. Repeat story. Finally I got the key code and the key and was on my way 2 hours late. I guess it's not a big deal, eventually the system worked. Why not just tell the customer to call in the first place? The system isn't working for this locale, so just have everyone phone in.

Shanise VThe smart phone method of getting the key etc was a bit tedious. Took over 20 minutes. Plus the smart phone told me to return the key to a yellow drop box, not the black one I collected it from. Other very smooth.
Brendan VWe had to wait about 15 minutes to get the van and then it smelled like vomit. We had to stop and buy disinfectant and air fresheners in order to pick up the 750 dozen donuts we rented to van to grab.

Worse on return with having to take multiple pictures of vehicle and mileage, even after attendant had already checked both. Vehicle was dirty on pick up with no wiper fluid. Wasn't made aware ahead of time that I would have to fill up gas tank, especially since I was paying for miles. Final price was not broken down and was considerably higher than initially quoted.
brad bstore wasn't open until 15 minutes after it's posted time, the employee was rude and made me wait even though I was the first person there, never was given the moving blanket I requested and paid for although they did reimburse me, the location is dirty and slow. Nothing wrong with UHaul, just the location

edrie mI was disappointed with the total amount. I did my reservation on line and got a set price and when I got to the location they charged me a different amount. I would have made a big deal that day but I was in a rush. However, the day I went to return it no one was there to speak to. It’s just sad we have to worry about all these hidden fees.
Sonia LThis location is a gas/convenience store. At check-in, the cashier was the only one working. I was shunted to a second counter location and had to wait at least 5-6 minutes while he waited on other customers. Then I had to give him my license AFTER I HAD SENT A PHOTO OF MY LICENSE ONLINE ! The blankets were piled in the corner of a storage room - took two trips to carry them out, myself. The service at the end of my rental was much better, but it still left a bad taste in my mouth.

mikdalia dThe truck was available on time and checkout was quick and prompt. The truck had a full ashtray (I do not smoke), the windshield outside and in was not clean. The wiper fluid /wipers worked just fine but were unable to clean the windshield. I had to clean the inside of the windshield. The trucks storage area (where you load up the truck with furniture) was clean, the blankets were available as ordered. The staff at RJ was very helpful and prompt.

Teresa BIf I have any complaints it would be the fact that I made a reservation in a location in Allentown. I received a phone call from U-Haul and was told that I had to go to another location to pick up the truck. Ultimately I ran over my allotted mileage. Then I was forced to pay an extra mileage charge.
Gregory GThe attendant did not take the time to explain the costs and policy, he wanted to rush me through while I read the contract terms and conditions. He also told me that I should check the vehicle before leaving so that I wouldn't get charged for any scratches or bumps and that previous ones were marked with a sticker. Well, there was indeed a bump to the front when I inspected the vehicle and when I told him he didn't put a sticker on it. He only replied, "See there that's why you inspect it because if it came back like that I would have thought you did it." But did not put a sticker on it. Therefore, I took a picture of it and anything else I found suspicious. We also took a picture of the mileage at the end and good thing too because he tried to overcharge me and when we told him we had a picture of the mileage he changed it. Lastly, usually we are allowed to park in the spot that the Uhaul is in, as I've done before, but he said we couldn't and had to find street parking. This location is shady and not very customer friendly. Will not use again and do not recommend.

joan SWaited 20 minutes just to get the truck. It was an understaffed gas station basically. And returning the truck took another 20 minutes just to drop it off because they were trying to take care of 2 customers at once (wrong), and the worker was cleaning the bathroom so we had to wait. Really? Not to mention the truck had less than 3/8 of a tank of gas when I picked it up. Ridiculous! Never going there again.
Carolyn NTHIS location was fine. My actual drop off location, a tire place in hellertown, turned us away because they didn't have the room. They then told us about an Ace Hardware that didn't seem to exist. U-Haul really needs to get it together with the drop off place. There is no way we could have fit a 26' truck at the original point.
Joseph CAt first I was not permitted to park my vehicle in the lot since I was told there was not enough room. Parking on the surrounding street was just meter parking. I planned to use the vehicle for the entire day so meter parking was not an option. The store clerk finally let me park there so this problem was solved. However, I feel as though there should be something on the web that this location did not offer parking. Otherwise, we had an excellent experience.
Deborah Sthe store was a half hour late opening - it held up my whole moving job. People were waiting for me and I was sitting waiting. I was not shown how to handle the vehicle at all. I was just handed the keys. Thankfully I am a very experienced driver and figured it out without any issues. also the van was pretty clean but the cab smelled terrible. the store person was very friendly and once they got there I was taken care of pretty quickly.
