Clean truck and friendly staff.
Jose CI chose this location because the hours indicated open on Sunday. it was closed and isolated. Not feeling safe for a woman alone. Furthermore, I rang the bell and was told through a ring camera that the location was closed and to contact UHAUL - change the res to 24/7. Thank goodness for your customer support team as the UHAIL site would not allow me to continue with my phone number not sure why.

Nirit SI have to make a formal complaint on StorgeX at Great Neck. I have called twice about this and was told that the matter would be escalated, via customer service and once via the store. Here I stated again: I was surprised at 5 hours of car rental costs of 267 dollars, over twice of the original estimate (~120). The cleaning fee being assessed is outrageous given short time of rental and what I used it for, a single piece of furniture. The after-hour fee is also intentionally deceiving - it was never mentioned at the time of rental, we were actually told to rush back to put the key in the box before 9PM, and we did, just to pay extra 20 dollars!

Gregory BThe area where I picked up was full so I parked on the other side of the lo to returnt. I realized when I stepped behind the van to take pictures that the area was covered with poison ivy. The van was generally clean but there was sand in the back of the van at pickup. Also would not recommend the Ford chassis van for short people. Even with the seat forward it was tilted up in the front so I had to push the gas pedal with the tip of my toes, which was very uncomfortable.

The entire process was seamless, from making the reservation to returning the van. The U-Haul mobile app was incredibly user-friendly and made everything so convenient. Living in Little Neck, this is by far the best and closest location to my house. The after hours staff was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Highly recommend Storage X for anyone in the area looking for reliable and efficient U-Haul services!

Peter TI rented a U-Haul truck. The $19.95 rate plus $1.29 per mile is an excellent deal. I used the truck for 8 hours and only paid $75. The pickup process was super easy and convenient. When I was done, I just dropped the truck back in the parking lot and dropped the key in the key return box. Awesome service. Thanks!
