RODOLFO PVery nice and helpful people. They made it easy to sign up for a unit online and gave me first mouth free for using a u haul truck. It was easy to access 24/7, just needed to drive up into the storage gate and give the code. It was really easy moving things from your car (or whatever) to the storage units because they provided carts. Then to end it my subscription was really easy too. All I did was tell them that I cleaned out my storage unit and they give me a paper stating I don't have a storage unit there anymore and I will not be paying for next months rent. Loved it. 100% recommend this facility.

BRIAN WI would definitely use U-Haul storage again and will recommend it to others. We had a large unit from July until mid February while we built a home and it was so nice to go in on miserable hot days in the summer and -15 below 0 days in February and be comfortable.

LLOYD WThe truck was extremely dirty and when I told them about it they wouldn't even come outside and look at it. So I took pictures. We also called them to tell them the check engine light was one and they didn't care.

Catherin EDrove 15 miles and immediately started having issues it shook past 40 and had to stop multiple times to tighten the lug nuts on the tire when I pay $400 for something it should be in good working condition. Especially when I’m paying per mile and having to make extra stops out of the way. Call customer service and they will make note of it. Just sad that you do not offer any compensation or anything when this increased time spent and miles driven due to poorly maintained equipment!

LAWRENCE H | First ImpressionsMy only feedback is that I hope you consider changing how you do passcodes into the facility. A nine digit passcode seems unnecessary and impossible to remember. Also, I was disappointed to see that a spot that I paid for was already being used by someone else before I could get out of it completely. You moved my lawn mower without calling me and I think there should be some courtesy in making sure someone is moved out before someone else moves into it. You would never do that with a storage shed and parking spots are still rented space whether I am using it or not.

KEN P | Overall ExperienceThe manager Tim was rude and not very professional, and was insinuating that I wouldn’t return their cargo van. This was insulting, and not necessary. As it was I was in a high stress situation with the fact my car broke down a the way to a job site.and this was the only option that I had to continue and stay on track thousands of miles away from home. 1400 is also insane for a rental, I will say my drop off was smooth and the young lady who helped me was a absolute doll of a human being and probably deserves a promotion.

AARON GI asked for a car dolly, unavailable but the trailer is only $50. I think that's great so I quit searching for a dolly and reserved said trailer. I told them that I only needed it for a day to go to Pierre ( roughly 150 miles). Get the trailer Sunday and it ended costing about $200 with all the fees that they didn't tell me about. I definitely won't be using Uhaul again.

However, when we went to our classic car in mid-May, we noticed four large dried water stains on our cloth, dust car cover. We immediately informed the manager of the storage facility, and he said they were aware of a roof leak, and that they were working on it. However, no one had notified us prior to this that there had been a roof leak. Otherwise, we would have moved the car immediately and removed the wet cover. This is why we are currently unsatisfied with the facility, as to their lack of notifying us of this issue. We have photos of the water stains on the car cover and can provide them if needed.

AMANDA LWe have used this facility before and are happy with the amenities. The only thing that I wasn't happy with was I had asked for paper billing and was told that wasn't a problem, but we never did get a paper bill. I was forced to use the App to pay. I don't like paying online because we have had information stolen several times. I called about it once and was told we should have been receiving paper bills but they really didn't do anything to resolve this problem.

Ross WI paid $50 plus dollars only to find out 2 days later I should of gotten a month fr3e. Used unit for 3 days if even only needed it due to domestic abuse situation. So if any of the women I speak with I will be honest about renting one of your units.
christen c | Overall ExperienceWe will actually be moving stuff in today (14th), but via phone calls, the staff have been very nice and helpful (when there was a mix-up). Tom was able to recognize the mistake and quickly fix it.
Lynn B | First ImpressionsAfterhours checkout was awful!!! Took over an hour and a half, at least 3 calls to support and the not so happy manager coming to help. None of the locks opened with the code until the manager came and banged and shook on them. Manager drove extremely fast into the parking lot and stopped abruptly within a foot in front of our truck, no customer service kindness for our troubles, even though the issue was not our fault, left without saying a word. The person supporting online was nice, but it was out of her hands to help as she was not local.
Travis HThe tow dolly was on the premises, yet in computer it was listed as not on the premises and the attendant was knowledgeable about what to to rectify the situation. He was polite and alopogetic. Because of this situation, it was over an hour before we got on our way with the tow dolly.
Karen RTom and his crew are great to work with. We have 4 units at Store It. Since U Haul has bought it things have really cleaned up. Just keep the price affordable please.
BARBARA C | First ImpressionsI reserved all my equipment 1 month ahead of my moving date and this location rented it out underneath me. Less than 24 hrs before my move I received a text message stating that I had to drive 1.23 hrs away to pick up my truck and car tow trailer. I specifically asked to pick up at Mitchell location because it was RIGHT next door to me. The guy behind the counter told me that they guarantee the equipment but not the location and yet when I made the reservation I specifically asked the kid behind the counter if I pick up at Mitchell location and he said YES. I had to call Corporate office to get them to fix what Mitchell location had done. Corporate office was great and fixed my problem. Then I went and picked up the truck and trailer a day early just for fear that they would rent it out from underneath me again. I went in and was paying with cash. I had a printed out quote as to what the truck, car tow and all insurance was going to cost me.. just under 1300. When I went in to pick up the truck the man behind the desk had me pay 1300 and something then told me that the car tow was not included in the price and I would have to pay another 400 for the car tow. I was beyond pissed again and threatened to call Corporate office and he then told me.."hold on let me see what I can do.. all of a sudden that 400 disappeared and he told me that I still owed $90 for insurance. I do not believe I owed that money however, I was over dealing with them and paid it in cash anyways just so I could leave and be done with them. Mitchell location made my move so stressful. My move was smooth until That location did what they did to me. I have to wonder if they were overcharging me ass a tip to go into their pockets. They still got $90 over what I was quoted. I will never recommend them EVER!

For online pickup, they need to realize that an emergency contact may not be able to answer right away and not deny using the same number again. Picking up my truck was absolutely frustrating beyond belief.
