The process was smooth, quick, and handled with a level of professionalism that made this experience the absolute best i have had with many uhauls throughout my adult life. Tell Mr. Fuller I appreciate his services. If I had one thing that i would like for next time to improve my customer experience. I would like to have whoever operates this location to operate the location of my next u-hual rental.

Dawn ZWe tried numerous times to call the location and they would not answer the phone. We left messages and they did not return the call. So we took a chance and drove there and the guy was so incredibly RUDE …next time we’ll drive out of my way to return to another location. Would NOT recommend this location at all drive a little further and go to another location. ALSO, the location where he made us take the truck to was not the correct address for returning it to. The guy made us drive about a 1/2 or more away from the address we were supposed to return it to. It should have been his responsibility to move the truck to where he wanted it. If I could give it ZERO stars I would…I hate giving it one.

Emerald PThe guy that rents owns the equipment, he's very rude! The moment you call him you can tell he's not a business guy. The trucks are 9 blocks away from the uhual building. Be prepared to walk in the dark at 8pm. Alone. Downtown Steubenville. No ty! I'll NEVER RENT UHUAL AGAIN!! The truck door was broken, so scratched up. No mileage because all the warning lights. Just crazy bad experience. Penskie is right here also. That guy needs a life he enjoys or something.
Daniel FA Uhaul rep moved me from a place I wanted to go to another place in a bad neighborhood. When I walked into the shop it was cluttered, dirty and reeked of weed. It was a very bad experience. I had to travel and additional 6 blocks to get to the truck lot form the store. Luckily my ride waited for me.

Tramaine TI don't believe that it was the man that helped me that was at fault he was awesome and was very helpful kind professional and courteous when we got there to get the truck the back door was open and it just looked alittle dirty and I told him that it wasn't a problem and I would sweep it out I wasn't able to smell the horrible smell and find out until after I closed the door and got to my destination is when the smell was horrible and I found out that there was pig crap on the ramp and inside the back of the truck. The truck didn't have hardly any gas in it at all either. The man that I delt with was very professional. I just didn't like the fact that I had to call to get a different truck which took even longer to do everything that I had to do and didn't get any kind of reimbursement or compassion, for it.
DAVID GWere to have a dully went to put things in truck and went back to get dully and the gentlemen had left and building locked so couldn't get dully. Upon calling asking for that to be refunded. Worker was very ignorant, I was called racist and a pussy. Worker hung up on me and said wasn't refunding money. Customer service was absolutely horrible.

Sydnee SUhaul made a mistake on the pickup time, gave me a location that is closed, however, the gentleman that gave me my truck was polite, kind and funny, he is what all uhaul dealers should be.

MAYOOR CThere was no ramp on the truck, and some of the wooden bars in the back of the truck were coming off the walls. The most frustrating part though was that the parking lot for the trucks was across town from the service desk. So when I tried to return my truck and complete the return in the app, it thought I was in the wrong location and would t let me return it. It became a very frustrating process and we had to drive back and forth across town several times.

Ramana MI was met outside by the owner who was very friendly. The actual drop off location was actually several blocks from the store. But he had me follow him there and got me checked out quickly.
Paul B2 of the tires needed air when I picked up the truck, it hadn't been swept, and the guy at the front desk gave me a hard time about my reservation. I scheduled it for 2pm and to have the truck for 24 hrs originally. He told me I scheduled my pick-up for 10:50am. He had an attitude practically the whole time I was there starting with that. He also mentioned the hold if I wanted to pay with cash but didn't mention the hold on my card when I went to drop off the key. The hours also say that they're open till 10pm but the office was closed when I got there at about 8:45ish. I understand the key drop off is available but if it's 24/7, what are the hours actually indicating? Other than that, the truck was fine.
Bernard CThe owners an abusive jerk. You have to pick up the key in a shady store that is 10 blocks away from the truck lot and this is not what will be sent in your email. The man berated me and almost refused to rent me his “last 15 footer” because I needed it AND RESERVED IT for a one way trip and he wasn’t going to rent it to me until I brought up the reservation guarantee, then he called another lot 10 miles away to see if they would rent me one. He was MEAN. Not rude… MEAN. Zero stars. The truck was aces though.
Julie VThe UHaul location was a 24/7 Self-Service. I scheduled the pick up for 7:30 am. The owner arrived at 7:30 and noticed I was on the phone and immediately began cursing at me because he assumed I was on the phone with customer service and said that it was too early for hi. Once the store was opened, he was extremely aggressive telling me to go “fuck myself” because he “had to be at work from 7:30am until 10:30pm” because of me. I apologized. He took my ID and went to process my card information and said it would not go through. I said, can you check the numbers to make sure I put them in right and he said “I do this every day, I told you what it said. I know damn well what I’m doing, you need to call your bank.” I called my bank to sort it out and the owner left to walk his dog. He then came back and told me that if I didn’t move my car, his pitbull would bite me. I moved my car. I went back inside the store and he said that my card actually processed. He gave me the keys and he sent me to go pick up the UHaul. This was one of the most uncomfortable and unnecessarily aggressive situations I have ever been in. I will never return to this UHaul location and will advise others to not use this service.

dana dCharles was very helpful, friendly, and professional. Not being able to store his vehicles nearby is unfortunate and he made it work with the storage lot nine blocks away. Know you will need to drive to the storage lot after getting your key.

The man that came out to give me directions was rather belligerent when I got lost the first time trying to FIND the place to drop it off, screaming about "people not following damned instructions." I only chose this location because of the preferred drop-off discount, but I advise anyone else to just find a better drop-off location.
Jesse AThe lot to actually pick up the truck was on the opposite side of town from the place to confirm reservations. Staff had 0 interest in being there, didn't have a way to communicate with each other and were generally unhelpful. The truck was in very poor condition, dirty and damaged. The entire process was a nightmare and if I ever use u-haul again (unlikely) it will NEVER be at this location.

Joseph CThe truck was poorly maintained. Had to use earplugs to drive it because there was something wrong with the exhaust or engine. I paid almost 400.00 for a moving vehicle that could have broke down.

John MI can't believe this is the same location we rented from prior. When we arrived there were zero trucks noted at location and then an older man came running out to tell us we couldn't park there because thats where the trucks go... so we thought it was being brought around for us (last rental was waiting for us). We went in and the young man have a lot of difficulty with completing the paperwork and had to call someone on the phone for help... 40 minutes later he hands us keys and says.. "do you know where the bus station is"...?? why? "because that's where are trucks are you have to go pick it up there" after a little back and forth I asked if everything was there... the blankets? He said yes, it's all set. When we got to the bus station not only were there NO BLANKETS but the truck was in terrible condition. The drivers side visor was broken and hung down across the field of view and the fan/ac/heater did not even turn on that's how broke it was. My husband headed back to the location to get the blankets and talk about the poor condition of the truck while I wet home to start getting ready to load up. I didn't even get a mile before my phone started ringing from a uHaul dispatch number. I pulled over to take the call and find out we weren't supposed to have that vehicle as it's a local rental only...but good news... there is another 1 that size available at a Mingo location we just have to drive down and get it. They tried to make it my problem but as I told them I was Not going to go pick him up and drive him there, it was their problem to fix. He ended up telling me to have him drive this truck down and exchange then they will have to pick the truck up. OH and it's a unmanned location so I had to make sure I picked up the blankets and kept them. So 3 hours later we finally have everything and start loading. I start to use the blankets and pull them out to find 2 of them caked with old dried smeared dog shit...seriously. I took pictures for my review. So obviously the workers do not even Look at the blankets that are returned let alone wash them. What an embarrassment this location is. Would NOT recommend.

Allan RLet the customer know that online says u pay when u drop off the haul no I had to pay for it when I picked it up. Other than that the services was great. The owner was a very nice Gentleman and was very helpful with his customers.
Jennifer SPickup location was not where I originally reserved. I incurred an additional 40 miles just to get the truck to my home/return rental truck to the changed location because my “guaranteed reservation” wasn’t available where I reserved it. I mentioned this to owner and rather than offer me the $50 credit I’m supposed to receive if my reservation isn’t honored, he accused me of lying about my original reservation. When I offered to show him my email confirming my reservation at a different location and the voicemail I have stating I’d need to get the truck somewhere else, he said “no I’m good”, put his phone to his ear and walked away. The truck he gave me had 170,000 miles, no windshield washer fluid, was severely out of alignment, and the brake service light flashing at times. It was also very clearly in a severe wreck and the owner refused to make note of any preexisting damage with me. Leather seats were ripped and poked legs, cup holders were covered in black soot. I was charged daily rental for moving blankets that were never received and when I asked for refund the owner took $5 out of his pocket and said “there”. I told him I was charged for 4 days, so he owed me $15 more and he just walked away. I’d like my $15 back for the moving blankets he never gave me, the $50 reservation guarantee credit, and the miles credited for the difference in distance between locations.
Melissa BIt was filthy n smelled horrible, bags of fast food on the floor n a nasty gal. Of water I didn’t want to touch! It said it had an 1/8 of a tank it was exactly on E. Never will I go there again!

Shane AI checked in fully online. When I was finished checking in, I was instructed to go inside, skip the line, and pickup my keys. When I went inside, there were a few people in line. I let the man at the counter know that I checked in online and simply asked if I should wait in the line or just grab my keys and go. He accused me of being rude just for asking because there were other people in line. Why does the website say “skip the line and go straight to the counter” then? I would never pickup from this location again.
Jeffrey WActually, the gentlemen working here were fabulous. They were kind, responsive, and quick to get me on my way. The truck was newer, so it was nice and clean. The area where this is located is a bit rough. I would go back myself, but not sure I would ask my wife to get something there.

Jacob SThe delivery process was difficult. No room to maneuver and remover the trailer. Luckily I had two friends much younger than myself who had to help lift the trailer off of the truck and push it back into a spot that walls allow us to back out of the lot. Also the owner was rude and not a very good representative of the u-haul brand. He kept making snide remarks under his breath loud enough for me to hear him simply because I asked him to please check the equipment in while I was still on the site so that I could feel confident that there were no issues with the return. He took offense to this and said “I’m the owner! I said you could leave!”. I asked him again to please check the equipment in while I was there and he got insulted. He then started this silly laugh that was intended to irritate me. I asked him what is wrong and why was he doing this, he said “I’m 40 some years old and I can laugh all I want! I decided to leave it be and simply write it up in my review of his facility. We never went inside of the office.

wrentie mWe filled the tank back up to 1/4 tank, & they charged me almost 70$ for gas that had already been filled properly, which overdrew my checking account . The store personnel was rude, & very abrupt. I tried speaking with a customer service rep, and she was abrupt and rude also. I will never use U Haul again nor will I recommend it.

People was waiting outside for somebody to be there and I work 7 days a week. I try to take it back to another location and they said that I had to take it back to the place where I got it from so I have no clue what I'm supposed to do
