• I really hate giving poor reviews. However, we were left in a bad spot because of communication issues. We have always moved ourselves, but after an injury, I am not as able to lift heavy stuff.We planned on having an hour or two to unload ourselves the light stuff at the back of the truck, so that helpers could do the heavy stuff and furniture. I tried to confirm ahead of time in exact window (even something like '1-5' is fine). I suggested 1 two days prior but didn't hear back anything but, 'afternoon is good.' On moving day, I asked at 1245 what time. They said 1pm, which no longer worked but the guys were already there. Our apartment didn't let us in until after 1. So the guys only unloaded the light stuff, and we were left with the heavy things, which totally wasted our money and we might as well never have hired movers at all. Plus, they weren't sure they could move our furniture upstairs, so why be movers? We even gave tips. The rest we unloaded ourselves in the rain.
