• Owner demanded extra men or extra hours on our 10x15 storage unit move, even when we relayed that we were okay if they didn't finish loading the entire unit. He said it was 'company policy' and that 'the extra hours we requested aren’t necessarily about the time-it’s to account for the extra effort and physical demand it would take.' I've used this service many times and this is the first time I've encountered this. On move day they were flexible in adjusting times when our moving truck wasn't ready at the scheduled pick up time. The taller gentleman was a good mover but the shorter one clearly was disinterested in exerting any effort. They did get most of the unit loaded, with our help throughout, but we would probably pick another company the next time around.

  We are taking the time to address this review thoroughly because there are a few important points that need to be clarified First we did not demand anything What we did was request a larger crew based on the fact that you had a 26 foot truck which is extremely labor intensive for two men This had nothing to do with the size of your storage unit it had everything to do with the size and demands of the truck Unfortunately we have seen too many situations where people try to stretch the two man two hour rate which is intended for smaller moves to cover much larger jobs in order to save money This isnt sustainable and isnt fair to our workers or our business Thats why we have implemented clear policies and guidelines that apply to everyone equally We respect honest feedback but we also expect the full story to be told We stand by our team and the fair policies we have put in place to protect both clients and workers

  Clear Moving

• You get what you pay for. It’s among the cheaper options when choosing mover vendors. We had two movers for roughly two hours. They were polite and worked hard. They did some damage to my bed frame and didn’t say anything, although it was easy for me to repair. The packing of the truck was satisfactory. I had plenty of furniture pads that they didn’t use but should have. There was some organization, but mostly items just jumbled together without much protection at all. Again, they got the job done, so it’s the budget conscious option.
