I thought I was hiring a professional moving company. No. Turns out, I hired laborers. Ordinarily there wouldn’t be anything wrong with laborers however, two inexperienced guys were sent to move my items and there is damage. I even had to ask the guys to not drag my furniture and for example, to please cover my sofas with moving blankets before dragging them across the floor. They were pretty careless and I feel bad for having to say it. Additionally, pricing is not straight forward and Martin the wanna be business owner did what he could to try to price gauge me. Completely unethical. I do not recommend these people. The guys they sent were nice young men but this is not the job for them. I rented a 26 foot U-Haul to move my items into storage. I hired Nuvia to move me out of the storage. These guys didn’t know how to professionally load the truck and resorted to shoving things in for everything to fit. I should have taken a photo. I don’t recommend.
