I agreed to have his son and a friend do our move, I didn’t realize that neither one was very experienced. The friend, Joe, obviously has never moved even a box before today. The majority of the items had to be moved by my husband and his brother because the boys couldn’t handle it. The son had some professionalism, but I’m pretty sure Joe was very high on something. He could barely keep his eyes open (and not because he was tired). Joe kept dropping furniture, scrapped the walls, and could barely lift anything. I hired movers so my husband didn’t hurt himself, he ended up moving all the heavy stuff out of necessity. I do take responsibility for agreeing to have the son and friend come— lesson learned. The company itself may be wonderful, but how they were represented today was absolutely awful.
