The Patels have been married for 14 years and have two sons. The couple spends its spare time taking their children to the movies and cooking.
Maria was born in Mexico and Nayank is from India, so the two have a fun time meshing their recipes in the kitchen.
“Maria makes this traditional pozole – it’s my favorite dish from Mexico,” said Nayank, who met his bride when the two were working at a Chicago restaurant.
