The clerk's in both location didn't have a clue to what they were doing. I was rented a storage that was full of junk. I sit out in the parking lot forever while they tried to find me a storage paying my movers to sit there. It was a nightmare.Ronald S.

It was my first time renting a truck from you guys and the store manager, was so dismissive and condescending from the start. I was overwhelmed by the lack of help that I received and wanted to cancel my reservation. I had completed the steps via my mobile and she continued to tell me that I hadn't, didn't bother to understand what the issue was, which was not user related. The two gentlemen out on the floor (checking in the trucks) were more helpful that she was. I wasted 30 minutes of my reservation trying to get the code to my truck/ get checked in. I work with customers on a daily basis, and I would've never treated a customer like this. The lack of self awareness and dismissiveness was not acceptable. I understand having bad days, and maybe this was one- but I'd challenge her to be better. Life is already hard as it is, please don't make it harder. Be a nicer human.Yanet V.

We rented a U-haul last year ago and the lady was so rude I promised myself I would never go back. I reserved a Uhaul at a location near out house to move our daughter stuff into her college house. The dude overbooked and sent us to this location. I cringed upon arrival and prepared myself for the rudeness.....Trey and Brodie were so awesome. It was a complete fiasco. Made online reseevation formtruck and 3 dollies. Had to go to two different locations for them. TRUCK.BROKE DOWN ruining our moving plans, and ruining groceries from our fridge Cost us almost two days wages from jobs due to having to replan around roadside assistance(LOST SLEEP BEING STUCK and then running all over DFW looking for the replacement trucks.(1 location we was sent to was not even a running location, we tried calling number listed for 30 minutes before giving up) getting a call back from roadside assistance a second time. When we got dollies was told we had to return to.original location so now waiting for denton highway to ioen to return the appliance and utility dollie. Associate who helped at check in had very mild customer service, chatted with other employees until I was immediately at the counter, and smacked her gum as if her life depended on it. Truck I was given had a oil leak at the rear axle. They should have noticed it at its prior return. I noticed it 150 miles away when it sat in my driveway overnight. Now I have to clean up oil off a concrete driveway. On my way back to return it, I stopped at my storage (5 mi from pick up location) and saw a fresh stain where it was parked when I loaded it. Customer service is very poor, 45 min wait to get key card. Emptied unit and witnessed more than one dissatisfied customer. One in fact yelling about how he was approached outside impeding traffic. Another upset about how it was communicated he was at fault for not reading their policy. Understaffed and poorly trained in customer service. After emptying my unit, I had to wait another 45 mins just to close out my unit. I understand the process I waited on takes more than 5 mins but, almost 2 hours is unacceptable. The mileage out number on the contract was considerably lower than the what is on the truck odometer. Correcting the issue took a long time. Upon return of the truck, the rep sent us to another location. Had to call uhaul to make changes and then check out took almost an hour.Shirley D.

I had a very good experience. Customer Service was good, Reps were professional and yet friendly, store opened on time, and checkout wasn't long and drawn out. I would definitely recommend U-Haul and specifically U-Haul in Haltom City, TX where I rented. The area was a good location, and there seemed to be plenty of rentals in stock even though I had already reserved a truck. I like the return service as well because you don't even need to go back inside. You just pull up to the designated return area, hand the keys over to a Rep, and you're on your way. The lady at the front desk is very stupid and doesnt seem to pay attention to the details and made a reservation under my name even thought I havent used Uhaul since 2018 and after this I probably never again. I spent 4 hours online and on the phone with customer service reps trying to figure out what happened then I call the store to hear an excuse and she didnt reach out to me, I had to waste my time to find out her mistake and why Ive been receiving texts and emails. My experience with renting a Uhaul has always been pleasant and comfortable. On July 16, 2022 I had the worst experience renting. I arrived to pick up my Uhaul using the mobile app and no one added any rental to my reservation. After waiting 10 minutes for someone to open the doors (no one was there til 11am) I called customer service and was on a 47 minute wait. Customer service representative found another location to send my rental to but couldn't discount my mileage for the inconvenience. Once I receive my new rental at the new location I was also told no dolly could be rented.Glenn W.

Nobody pulled the truck up for us. The truck wasn't parked where we were told. The key for the truck was locked in the back of the truck and we had to burn out fingers over and over to enter the word DART to open it. Once we got the keys, we had to maneuver strategically around the trucks blocking it in. We never should have had to do thatSara S.

Have more staff on hand. The wait was pretty long and only two employees were at the counter for rental equipment. My employee had to leave the front counter to check that I had the auto transport hooked up correctly which only left one employee up front. The day before I went to the location because I thought they had to do an inspection and all that entailed was answering a question but a physical inspection was not done. It was frustrating to wait in line twice especially since they were so short handed at a busy location.Jill F.
We waited over one hour and once we got service and a key we couldn't find the truck we rented. No one gave directions or knew what to do. I had reserved on line and that didn't help either. The keys given for the rental didn't belong to any truck on that location. After about 30 minutes looking for the truck they finally gave us another keys for another truck. I ended up leaving that location two hours later from my reservation pick up time. When the final invoiced was sent to my email they had charged more. So, I had to call to dispute the charges but had to wait a ridiculous amount of time before speaking to anyone. I had a horrible experience at this location. When I originally arranged for the storage unit it was supposed to be one of the large 10x20s I got there and the people that were renting that storage shed we're still renting it and still had all their stuff in it so they moved me to 2 of the 5x10s and charge me that and now I've got everything out of one unit and into the other unit and there's only about a $50 difference in my bill so if you could explain that that would help I think the number was 2701 Michael ashinhurst my return number is 817-345-1465 I mean I sincerely feel like I've gotten ripped off along the way hereMICHAEL A. | Overall Experience

The staff and facility are excellent. I would take the Mover's "Godly Men" and the few moving companies the same owner has off your list of movers. He is the one that offers the cheapest price. He was suppose to send me 2 people at 5:15. No one arrived until 8:30. Then only one arrived. The owner said he felt bad and if I would give him a 5 star rating he would give me a free day. I needed movers on Friday and the owner did not respond to me all week. He is a crook and does not keep his word. Since your facility is top notch you should get rid of this mover and his multiple moving companies. He does not represent the high standards you work so hard to maintain. Get rid of him. I moved out of this storage in (June 2021,)had a storage unit and had a lock from them ,rented a one-way moving truck from them. I received a call a few weeks ago and they informed me I needed to pay for my storage, I explained the situation the person seemed embarrassed and I assumed it was over ,then last week I get a call to inform me that my storage is going to auction the next morning I told the girl the story she also sounded embarrassed but She was new and told this and said let me talk to the manager who said we'll u left a lock on it so we can't open it, I told her it was empty but she insisted that it must go for auction so I was like..ok auction it !( it's air)! U-haul is a nice and clean place. But two thing I didn’t like was, that it takes me about 20 to 35 minutes to talk to the person there, when I try to call. It’s a long wait just to speak to someone there. And another is that the rates keeps going up every year. I started at somewhere around $95.00 and end up at $139.95 a month and going up again. The only comment that I would give you is that I was very disappointed because, even though I made the reservation for a 10x20 storage since July 13, when I got there the attendant told me there were no storage available of that size and he told me the only one available it was a 5x8 or something like that. I was insisting that I was coming from another state and that I needed a storage to leave my stuff, so he started looking for some availability on the system and finally he gave me 2 storages 10x10 and paying more than expected.
