I won’t be using U-Haul again.
CHRISTOPHER KThe guy from the front desk was trying to charge my employee twice, for a reservation that I already paid online with my credit card. He kept insisting about collecting payment and saying “it doesn’t work like that” “ you have to pay here” even though I told him several times about me paying the reservation online. At the end I told him, yeah go for it and charge me again, and I’ll disputed with my bank account if I got charge twice. And all of the sudden, he told my employee it was ok to go.
LUIS MCustomer service was good. I felt unsafe waiting for an Uber due to the location appearance. Seems like UHaul is working more with these side-hustle unsafe feeling rental locations.
ISMAEL NTruck was fine, however, no dolly was available making me drive to another location. This was the location I was originally supposed to get the truck from.but was moved 1 day before reservation. When I got to the location to get the dolly—-Henry Hines blvd, they were super nice but it wasted 45 minutes because a whole new order had to be created just for a $12 dolly. Also at the pickup location, 1 mart, the area was a bit sketchy and I had a homeless person yelling at my wife from across the street.

Ana AA employee logged into the account a day after truck was returned and changed my return day and I was charged an extra 70$ which I had to create a case for and do a police report. Worst experience!
Tamekia TMan that claimed he worked at the 1 stop mart (white old man with black and brown dog) was beating on the U-Haul truck as i was waiting for my ride to come and get me. He accused me of intruding and very inappropriate as i tried to show him paperwork and the fact that i had a key. He was sloppy drunk, and had a dog with him as if he was going to release the dog to attack me. Showed him paperwork and keys and he still harassed me. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION!!! EVER!!!!
Kennedy BThey tried to say that I didn’t return the truck when I definitely did. And they tried to order charge my card offline. Very unprofessional… the location looked like a gas station too I should’ve known something was wrong .

Celisse PWhen we dropped off they took the keys and basically waved us off -- no pleasantries or check of the vehicle. Was just weird. I only recommend the location because it's right next to Love Field which was convenient for us.
Gordon WThe float in the gas tank was bad so when I traveled from Texas to Indiana. $50 filled the tank, but then the gauge read quarter tank. I stopped to put another $50 in and the gauge read half tank. I stopped again putting in $25, but it wouldn't take more than $9.88. Besides that the motor was missing out.

ROBERT CStill waiting in a call back in regards to the issue of bad information given postponing my move and then my reservation on the 2nd day was cancelled by U-Haul making me go to a different location delaying my move even more and the additional miles I was told I was going to have also were not sent to the reservation that was set after that. Shannon BI dropped off the truck, nobody came to see it, I was supposed to receive an email within 45mn and still nothing. In addition the GPS location is wrong and the site not easy to find.
Joel VI had a horrible experience. My move was delayed due to a hole in the gas tank on the first reservation, i was charged twice for 2 trucks and 2 deposits and my refunds and rewards have not been received. Would probably never use U-Haul again
DASIA VEven tho U-Haul place notes on my reservation stating the discrepancies on the starting miles , this location charged me 500+ miles and now “no one “ can help me

Pardeep STruck broke down 5 mines after we took. It was very dirty inside as well. Took 2 hours for roadside assistance to arrive, couldn't locate me another truck.

Ronald RUhaul added a dolly and blankets to the invoice. I DID NOT REQUEST THEM. They weren't in the truck either. Also, why do you wait until a customer picks up the truck to ask for references etc. Why cant it be completed before hand? That added 30 min to the day that was unnecessary.

FRANCISCO cI know sometimes there’s not enough employees to clean and maintain equipment but last time I rented a small truck was dusty all over .
oscar pThe truck we rented was very very loud, which seemed odd to us. but we figured the unit had been checked out, so we continued with our move. Turns out the catalytic converter on our unit had been stolen and we did not realize that was why it was so loud until we returned the vehicle.

Sam STerribly sketchy location, terrible service (I was sent here for the specific truck I needed and when I arrived they rented it to me with a broken window?), terrible everything.
Carly TMy experience was horrible. I pre-ordered the equipment online just fine and went to pick it up. The "kid" who was working the convenience store that afternoon usually worked the night shift and never dealt with the U-Haul stuff. He didn't know what he was doing. Multiple times he had to call his boss to ask how to do different things related to processing my order. It took over an hour to get my equipment. But that was not the worst. First, he created the paperwork to assign me truck A. But it was only at the end when he discovered truck A had not been processed yet. He did not know how to back out and assign another truck on that order. So in the process, he cancelled the original order and created a new order **WITH A NEW, MUCH HIGHER RENTAL COST**. He apologized, but said he did not realize the key to truck A was still in the night drop box, and the truck had not been processed. Still, truck B under the new order he created was the same size, but cost more. I had him get the key to the drop box and get the key to truck A, hoping it would bring back the original price. It did not. Since the furniture I had bought needed to be moved that day, I had no option but to pay the HIGHER PRICE price to get any truck. I believe that could be called EXTORTION!!!!! I think BBB should hear this story.
PAUL RCustomer service associate didn’t even know what was going on. He had the truck we needed but it wasn’t ready for rental. This is after UHaul sent us to this place as a second choice because they had the truck we wanted. Ended up taking a bigger truck and paying more! Did not feel confident in my rental as I left. Location pickup did not feel welcoming and knowledgeable.

ROCHELLE CThat place is a liquor store by the airport with gang bangers hanging around out front drinking beer in the morning and smoking cigarettes by gas pumps. Nobody explained the program or anything about the rental. Horrible customer experience. Horrible customer service - I am going with Penske at Home Depot next time

TARA KHello, I was charged an inaccurate amount of $85 to my debit card from Uhual. I returned my U-Haul truck on Time, and let Uhual know I had trouble completing the trip on the app which led to them charging me for an extra day. On top of that they also charged me an extra fee which I wasn’t able to dispute because I had to withdraw money from my account so they wouldn’t unnecessarily charge me. I already paid for a full day, and they charged me twice and I need the $85 charged to my account returned to my card please.

Saif MUHaul is like a family friend! I always call you first. I have a hard time reserving online. I had to go in person and got help from a very kind lady in your kingwood store. She was a life saver. I cannot remember her name, maybe Melissa. she went out of her way to help me rent a uhaul in Dallas! Love uhaul.

Mike ZThe truck size I ordered was not there(unavailable). The appliance dolly I paid for was also not available, it made moving my washer and dryer from the 2nd floor apartment difficult.
MAURICIO NVehicle cab was filthy, still had food containers in it, and reeked of cigars. I cleaned the cab of the loose items, but did not wipe down the spilled soda or blow out the cigar butts and ashes. Cargo area had to be emptied of previous users clothing and rusted tools. Clerk helped me rake it onto the ground and was embarrassed by conditions (the sole redeeming personal interaction I had). I later swept and mopped this area before I loaded. Check engine light was on for entire 340-odd mile trip. I should never have accepted the vehicle. A mistake I’ll not repeat. I s

tabathia vU-Haul’s computer network was down, which jeopardized my schedule to meet professional movers. Even though I completed my online registration, arrived 20 minutes early, it took two hours to process my transaction. It was not the fault of personnel at 1 Stop Mart. The guy three was very apologetic. He even offered my daughter and I free refreshments while we waited. However, there should be a backup system for such occurrences. How did the company function prior to electronic technology.

Kameron CI have been doubled charged for my rental. 1st charge is correct for a 24hour rental and the 2nd charge is for a 48-hour rental. The second charge is incorrect.
Teresa MIt's kind of a sketchy area. I'm glad my husband was with me. We picked up the truck via the U-Haul app as to not have to go inside the store. There was no box to put a code into like we were told. Had to go inside and talk to someone. They couldn't find the key. Finally found it in the return box. The we had ordered 2 furniture dolly's. They only had 1. The lady helping us called another U-Haul and sent us to them. Only she called one U-Haul store and sent us to a different one. It was not a very good experience. I ended up running at least an 1hour behind time with people waiting on me to be able to load the truck.
