ALYSSA DThis one is tough. The location can be hard to find and it’s really not in a great place. On the other hand the staff was amazing. As soon as I drove in the guy came out of the office and helped me return the truck very seamlessly.

I still don’t believe I’ve received complete reimbursement for the silicate charges My only positive feedback is with Tony and Diane. They both tried repeatedly to remedy the situation with no luck. System needs to be fixed. Thank you, both.

Serhii S“Pre” check in could only be done on site. No shady area to see my phone. 43 minutes in a gravel lot before It was completed. Lock on key holder was difficult to open. Jiggled the dials and finally got the key. Key to attached padlock not on keyring. No appliance dolly, as ordered. Furniture pad container was empty. Got in truck…. Gas tank was almost empty. 1 hour of my rental time used before putting it in Drive. After loading, cargo door got stuck open due to latch. Another 45 minutes to fix it so I could drive to my destination. I have photos of the latch. All business done via the app but there was no way to charge my phone during the time truck was used. Phone died before return. Had to stop and charge it a little before returning vehicle. App does not let you go back if something was missed. Tried calling UHaul number because I did not have code to gate, message said it was “ past business hours”. Did not receive email with code until after my phone was fully charged, long after I returned the vehicle. This was a 12 hour round trip. Before you ask, My phone was at 100% when I began this whole process. Used Waze for directions during whole trip, so that used up quite a bit of battery life. Vehicle did have a cigarette lighter option, but I was unaware I needed the adapter. At $1.19 a mile, I was not going to backtrack to get it. This is my first nightmare experience with UHaul. I will never use this location again.

Ricky Cbad experience with the drop off, first they didn't put it in the right spot. then they left it without taking the screws out so I couldn't even open it till my neighbor helped me, when I called, they acted as they didn't understand what I was talking about, I feel I paid too much money for the services for the mishap.

STEPHANIE OIt was a little confusing to me, dropping off at this location. I did call the customer service to get help, before realizing there was a sign, giving instructions on how to enter the facility. My fault, reading is fundamental. LOL. Other than that it was easy.

James EWe made reservations for the Stockton/47th store only to arrive and find there was no truck. Very frustrating! We had to call 3 other stores and then drive 6 miles out of our way to finally get a truck. Very frustrating! The employee at Stockton was helpful and apologetic for the issues at her store. Overall the other store (Howe) was fine it was just a pain in the ass t get the truck. Very frustrating !!

ASHANTI II had asked the guy on the phone, who ends up being the owner, to check the tires. Owner said tires are good and brakes work perfect. My tire looses it tread after 2hr into my drive, and trailer brakes have zero function. Worst experience ever.

FLORENCIA AWorking with the app after hours was very frustrating and the wait time on the phone was over 30 minutes. The verification process took way too long. Then during the return process on the app, it suddenly ended and did not give directions where to leave truck until I called. Luckily there was no wait time this time since it was late in the evening and in the dark.

The one thing that should be improved is, I received the text messages telling me they were on the way to deliver, move, deliver, pick up containers AFTER the fact, every time. That was OK for me, but would bit be for someone who had to leave work to meet the delivery.

Sean BWhen I arrived, a single person was leaving. He had no U-Haul logos on cloths or vehicle, but I assume he worked there. He directed me to drive down a gravel & dirt road and "just leave it anywhere out of the way." He said, "I'll check it in later. I have you on camera. Just leave it." So, I disconnected it myself and drove away with no other contact or paperwork. It was disconcerting enough that I called the main U-Haul number & waited on hold for 30 min. to ensure it was noted in the computer I'd dropped off on time.

Robert FThe truck that I was given had 1/8 of a tank of gas and clearly had homeless people living in it it reeked of urine and I had to take my time to take it back which had me lose three workers that were helping me move. I had to pick up a new truck, which took a hour and a half out of my moving time. I was overcharged my truck was a 10-ft truck I was charged the price of a 26 ft truck. No one is never there to answer the phone no one has returned my call and now they have me owing money on a truck that I clearly should have gotten a refund on. I will never rent from this location again and I will Yelp them as well as make sure no one that I know will rent from this location.
Sonja MIt would be nice to have a code provided to get into the gate to park inside. Also, it would be nice to have an attendant during the hours posted for operation. This establishment was supposed to open at 7 AM. I arrived shortly before 8 AM and nobody was there and there is no office from what I could see in the gated storage unit area. I was instructed to leave the vehicle outside of the gated area via an app and the U-Haul representative I called. The fast food establishment next-door is boarded up and there were items of clothing strewn about in the overgrown vegetation in the area I was instructed to park. I was uncomfortable, leaving the equipment there outside of the gate, unattended, with a full tank of fuel (no locking gas cap).
Lori SCustomer service was great, they got me in and out fast. They also offer after hours drop off, I was late to return and they gave me access after hours, which was a bug stress relief. I will be coming back to them next time.
Hyesuk BThese guy are awesome! Location is great and in the center of town. Customer service was easy, fast and straight forward. They are a newish UHaul location and are working on big things and focus on the customer. Give these guys a shot and you will be happy with the service and effort.
Victor HI was sent to this location without knowing that it was closed for the day due to it being Memorial Day. The site looked like it possibly burned down at some point - windows and doors boarded up, and the parking lot had a pile of pressure treated wood scraps where I was supposed to park my truck, which I had to move.
Janice BSeemed to have lots of equipment available. Difficult to find where to go on the site to pick up the truck. I am disappointed that they did not explain a requirement to bring the truck back with more fuel than was in it when picked up. The final contract should have been reviewed with me by the Uhaul personnel (rather than just "sign here" for pickup) since it was all finalized on a smartphone.

Bruce OI was contacted four times within 48 hours to let me know that the location I had chosen was not available and then when I was rescheduled, I was contacted another time to let me know that the truck I needed was not available at the rescheduled location. I was rescheduled to a third location where I was told that the truck had been returned by another customer with no gas and there was no one available to put gas in the truck even though my rental was four hours Away. Finally, I was dispatched to a fourth location that was 5 miles away from my original choice and I was not granted any credit for mileage. When I arrived at the location, there was no employee or office of any kind to speak of even though it was before 5:00 PM. The app worked well, but the process took 20 minutes to go through the self service check out. I would not use this company again if I had another reasonable option.

Jason PThis location needs to ensure all equipment is available and ready for pick up before confirming with the customer. I rented a vehicle to secure my move on Friday, I was contacted a day before stating all my equipment was ready for the scheduled date. Went to the location, found the truck, no equipment.. Had to go to another location for the equipment setting me back in my journey. Next time, I'll do things differently. Even a discounted rate should be given for the inconvenience caused!!!
Yanique FI had a one way rental. I was given a truck that apparently was owned by location and not eligible for one way rental. I was called and told I had to return truck in city I picked it up in 3 HRS AWAY!! I was told I would be given a discount and not charged for the new truck I needed to swap it out with. I was charged for it, the correct discount was not applied and I am STILL waiting for someone to return my call for my refund. Moving is stressful enough. It was not my mistake that caused the mix up yet I’m the one still dealing with the hassle. The worst part is- uhaul doesn’t care at all how they treat their customers

Kurt LIt is difficult to connect using the app once at the site. Also, more detail needs to be included to customer before committing to payment of extension. However, I appreciate that U-haul did adjust the final amount of the bill. Thank you for your service.
