Took 6 tries to change the reservation as they had no packing materials on site. 3PM pickup appointment and nobody on site was available to process the paperwork didn't get away until 4PM. No assistance in hooking up the trailer or to check that I knew what I was doing I hooking up the trailer.PATRICIA C.

Given some previous experiences with U-Haul I was pleasantly surprised with the service and particularly the condition of the vehicle. I use U-Haul occasionally and the one very upsetting thing about is as follows: I order a vehicle or a trailer in advance and when I go to pick it up it is unavailable. I have had to drive hours out of my way to pick up vehicle or the vehicle is damaged in such a way as to make it not weatherproof. The main thing is when renting time is of the essence. I greatly resent having to waste my time while they look for a vehicle I need now and then have to drive hours to find one. This is not a problem with the proprietors but rather a problem with U-Haul not being able to accommodate customers by arranging delivery of a vehicle at the appointed time.PETER S.
Inexperienced with rental. Had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come to the store that knew how to rent the unit. Did not have the supplies I ordered online (and was charged for) Matt's and dolly. Despite paying online, both locations added additional charges after picking up the unit. Trucks brakes squealed something aweful, must be shot or close to. Does anyone even inspect these things. Gas was at 1/4 tank. How on earth are you supposed to know how much gas the truck will use and bring it back with that amount. Tanks should be full and you top off what you use. This is obviously some shady tactic to get more gas out of the customer by uhaul. Pretty sad. Also, said I get 100 bucks if my order wasn't available. I never got any of my moving supplies and no forward warning of them not being available. Online said if my rental wasJohn J.
They told us we had to leave and go get paperwork from a different town because they don't have a printer or computer. Then when I said I had an email telling me to come to that location and not the one in Williams lake she told me I could just take the trailer without paperwork. I spent 120 minutes dealing with pickup and drop off issues at this location and on the phone to the 800 number. This was the worst uhaul experience I've ever had and I have rented a lot of uhaulsKayla O.
