This is not a comment on Melfort family Mart. This is a comment about uhaul as a whole. I reserved a 26 foot truck to be picked up in Prince Albert a month before I was going to move. 2 days before I am supposed to pick up I get a message from uhaul stating that truck is not available and that I can get a smaller truck and additional trailer for the same price. I said no I need a 26 foot truck so I changed my pickup location to Melfort as that is where the truck was. I had to travel an additional 95 km one way to get the truck. The night before I was supposed to get that truck I get another message from uhaul saying other families needed my 26 foot truck and again offered a smaller truck and trailer. I again declined and had to phone Melfort directly to ensure I was going to have a truck reserved. Uhaul had a month to find the equipment I requested and did not. Instead they tried to change my reservation multiple times. Moving is already stressful and having to deal with this mess from uhaul added so much more stress. I will never use uhaul again and I will make sure everyone knows how poor my experience was.
