The Rates are very very high on Fridays and Saturdays and are not explained in detail to you. I was surprised when I booked a Van for $263 mileage included , to then request a 10 foot truck be given a receipt for $919 for that same trip. When I called for clarification, the Owner simply said that the difference is not only in the day but the increase in mileage rate on a Saturday. If he told me that at the time of rental I would have easily made rh decision to go with the Van at a quarter of the price. Never again. I will stick with Enterprise, there are no surprises there.Brenda B.

Everything was great! I really like returning with the phone and taking the pictures, etc... Super easy to use and next time (probably next week) I will try the mobile pickup of the equipment. I've been hesitant hahahaha.. The van I received was beautiful and very easy pickup/drop-off at this location. Also great that it's a gas station and you can fill up right there before returning. At pick up had a low pressure tire and an 1/8 tank gas. Pick up was at a gas station that didn't have air to fill the tire, and would expect to start with full gas and fill it on return than have to buy gas when not knowing how much is needed but definitely don't have enough already.Michael N.

The location to pick up was fine in itself, but my overall experience with this rental was incredibly frustrating. I tried to reserve the truck at a location near where I was moving my items from, but U-Haul forced me to go to a location 45 minutes out of my way (past around 3 other U-Haul facilities), adding mileage to the rental. I was told this was because it was a one-way (out of state) rental. I tried to use the 24/7 pickup option, which I would not recommend to anyone based on my experience. When you arrive and try to check in on your phone, the system forces you to enter two "alternate" contacts for the reservation, neither of which could be the two names that I already had on the reservation. This resulted in my family members being called to confirm details, instead of me, the person onsite picking the truck up. The app asked me to accept charges for equipment that wasn't there (appliance dolly, etc.) and no one was responding via the app's chat when I attempted to have them removed. I tried to call customer service, was on hold for 10 minutes before a woman came on to tell me that the equipment had been removed from my order (I guess the chat worked, not that anyone responded to confirm). I tried to explain that I couldn't move the items I needed to move without the dolly - that's why I had tried to rent it. She told me the moving tools are not able to be officially reserved, only the truck, but that I could DRIVE AROUND TO OTHER U-HAUL LOCATIONS to see if they had the items for me to borrow. I was told that I could try calling the phone for the locations, but that since it was Saturday most of them would have their phones set to ring to the main customer service line - which can't tell me if they have moving equipment available to rent. At this point so much time had passed that the reservation had expired and I could not complete the check in process on my phone. Eventually I found a person to help me complete the truck rental (this was in the parking lot of an auto-repair shop, not an official u-haul location - no signage on the shop to indicate that they were affiliated with U-Haul), but he couldn't rent me any dollies for a one-way move. I ended up spending another hour trying to find someone to rent a dolly. Nothing about this was easy, and moving is already a stressful time. Overall the attitude I got from everyone I dealt with was "sorry, not our problem."Bradley G.

I returned this truck 40 minutes before my time of 4 hours ended and they charge me as if I did it 24 hours later ... crazy !!! ... I have videos that prove that I spoke with a lady at 4:30 yesterday to me I ask if the truck was with me I told her the same and she said ... After trying 3 different credit cards and being told its my card i dont have enough money making me feel poor, he said it was his processor down. So then i gave him 100. 2 days later when going to pick up my money and having returned it via phone im told theirs no return receipt so he has to call customer service. After about a 20 minute wait he gives me my deposit refund.
