To this date and time I have not been credited back.The $17 I was charged for materials.I never had received. This is horrible.I need to know who to speak with about getting my refund.
Bernadette WThere were several discrepancies while making my reservation for three days, which resulted in dishonoring the original reservation made for 11/29 at 4:30 PM and updated for 6:45 PM,; he claims that he did not receive data for my reservation on that date, which seems to be either a system or human error or rather the manager's resistance to honoring the $85 daily rate, i.e., a $36 discount for 10' truck at $122 for an apparent courtesy for a van that was not available. The next he could not see the reservation # ending in 209 instead he saw an unconfirmed reservation # ending in 419 at the regular price. Besides acting in a sabotaging mood, he also did not provide specific instructions on how and where to return the truck in Jersey City, which resulted in a two-hour multiple loop around the city, with additional charges in contradiction with the corporate office that he would provide this and if, the unconfirmed reservation were to be used, he would provide the discount in the original discount. Instead, he said that the corporate office had to do this and that I should request this. I believe that both the manager and the corporation acted unethically by not honoring the original reservation agreement at the rate, and time of delivery, which resulted in the sabotage of my schedule and double charge, when I only used a 10' truck, which left nearly two hours later about noon. I should have received directions by email since the GPS in Jersey City was quite unclear when reaching the [PS storage] place; also when returning the truck to U-Haul including police directions did not work out as expected resulting in another loop, finally made it, but I had spent an extra hour as the JC Fire truck was blocking the `Sixteenth St near Marin Blvd and the Exxon gas station at 597 Marin Blvd. In general, the experience was rather "difficult." The low-mileage truck performed better on the highway than on local roads, but it was reliable enough to make it to the end. The truck cost was about 250% of the planned budget based on the original reservation. The person who is rather greedy about the new unethical usage of AI to have customers pay more for any service while providing a mediocre customer experience and poor public relations, such as duplicating charges, resistance to viewing an existing reservation, choosing the duplicated higher cost reservation, stating that the credit card was declined to allow for the duplicate reservation to take place, but above all consuming the customer's time and sabotaging the customer timeline by not honoring the original reservation with the greedy attitude of making much more money for the same service resulting in mediocre customer experience (CX)., when could have been perfect leaving everyone happy and satisfied. Besides, I left the truck at half a gallon, but the receiving manager did not allow for the needle in the panel to reach its actual value to the right the midpoint, a $20 credit requested now. The original receipt did not honor the 34 free miles.

Melvin PWhen I made the order on the app I selected the option to return on 07036 zip code (linden NJ). In linden the location operator refused to take back the van. he claimed the return should be where I picked up at zip code 08861. As a result I had to return the van in the picked up location . Until i reached the picked up location I was late and charged another day. I request not to be charged for extra day that I didn't use
Isaac MComputer system was down and the Uhaul employee made no effort to find a solution. He just said that we could not rent a truck until it the system came back, and he had no idea how long that would take. Since I had traveled from out of town and was on a tight time schedule, I called the main Uhaul telephone number and they were able to process my rental and eventually get me a truck.

Our truck was parked behind another one and the guy gave us a key to move the truck ourselves to get to the one given to us. 5 minutes into driving the check engine light came on. The breaks were sketchy and the truck felt like it was moment from breaking down. We also lost over 30 minutes of time on our rental because “his computer was down”. He also charged us insurance when I did not add it on during my online checkout and told him in person I did not want it. Will never be using this UHaul again and several customers said the same thing.
