The information on the website is inaccurate. When I booked my uhaul, the website said it's 1.19 per mile . When I returned the uhaul they charged me 1.39 per mile. (24 hours)

Kailyn BCheck in and check out process was too cumbersome and slow. At the last minute I was asked to go over to another location, almost 10 miles further away from the original. Although I was promised a $50.00 rebate, it has not shown up on my bill, nor the attendant was aware of it. Dissapointed.
Raul UWorkers within the Convenient store are super rude . We were trying to park the truck and still be able to take pictures and the employee basically tried to kick us off the property because we didn’t park the truck how he liked right away.. really freaking rude will never rent a truck from that location again.
ZOE L15' truck when driven on the highway had lots of play in the steering wheel and transmission was shifting slowly. At destination had to exchange truck as it was unsafe to drive back to pickup location in Tampa. Got numerous invoices and still trying to resolve final bill. Got charged for wrong drop off eventhough this was not by my choice but due to unsafe mechanical problems. Hopefully this will be resolved.

RAFAEL Vthis location charged my card a deposit then chatged it again. i went to the location to ask for an explanation on the second charge and was met with the most rude, confrontational attitude i hsve ever encountered. I had to go to u haul corporate and my bank yo have my $400 returned and it is still an ongoing process. DO NOT go to uhaul on bearss ave in tampa. I am completely appalled by the audacity of the management there. furiously frustrated.
SEAN AI did not ask for coverage. But my card was charged $15 coverage fee. If you go through my original booking, you would see I did not request coverage. Please refund my $15. Thank you.

Ashley CPickup was needlessly difficult due to the communication issues. I do not speak Spanish and the attendant did not speak English. My pickup location was moved from its original location because a trailer was unavailable, funny thing I drove past the original location there was the same size trailer in that lot. Total lost time of 45 minutes to an hour of traveling because that trailer that I could clearly see was according to U-haul not there. Hooked the equipment up myself, attendant checked nothing, did not even assist with light checks. Not an easy in or exit location. I have rented more than a few U-haul’s over the years, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had from the company. If that had been my first experience with u-haul I guarantee it would also be my last. I would pull that franchise license before they can damage the company reputation further.
Richard Mthe truck was very damaged on the outside and the Engine light was on. while idling felt and sounded like it was going to stall. I went back inside to inform them and requested a new one, but was told it was alright and I couldnt have another one. When I asked what will happen if it breaks down, I was told to just call. I was nervous the entire time driving it within a city I had never driven before with it sounding as if it was going to stall.

LUIS RClean the truck for the next customer--take out the dirty sock and gloves on the floor, and the receipts near the passenger seat. Make sure the mirrors work. The one on the passenger side actually swiveled as we sped up, slowed, turned, etc. This makes for dangerous driving given the fact that there is no rear view mirror. Finally. look for some air freshener. I'm glad our drive was short because the cab smelled bad. Very disappointing rental.

Marco PThe location was not the issue. The issue was there was only ONE person working who also had to manage the gas pumps and the convenience store. It turned out there were lots of customers and he had to lock the doors to the store so that he can attend the customer outside to handle the UHaul truck. However, the employee was very nice and very helpful despite having to work in such horrible conditions. One person SHOULD NOT work that location alone!!!
Felix AParking lot is way too crowded and tight, guy behind the counter was demanding I back the truck in, but there wasn't enough room with all the cars. Truck was nearly out of gas and the check engine light was on. I had to have a weird call with someone for the truck rental on the old store phone. I won't be going back.

Shana SPoor customer service, my 16 yr old daughter was with me at the time I was in the process of renting a truck and I was told she had to wait outside. That really upset me. No reason for her to wait outside the store. The truck i rented was filthy and had barely any gas. I would never do buisness with this location or refer anyone to this location. Very rude employer, I even thought of filing a report on how my daughter and I were treated.

Returning the van was a nightmare he told me to give him the key and leave, i am 67 years old and don't know electronic. I called C.S. and she would not help me, that is ridiculous. You're people are no help on the phone.

NATASHA Sthis was the second location i had been sent to to pick up the truck i had reserved because at the first location the truck had a check engine light on. When I got here, guess what? The check engine light was on. I ended up getting a smaller truck even though i had already paid for the larger one. I will never rent from U-Haul again. if you are reading this, stop and call Penske.

tom mI got charge for fuel when I fuel the truck before returning it. You can see the first picture it was full with the mileage 15781. They charge way more miles then I drove as well. The truck was having issues with the way it was driven so I decided to return the truck. I filled it back up in the second picture and the miles are 15804. I need that charge return or the whole ticket return because I was not able to used the truck and it was eating fuel way to fast I went short trip 12 miles each way and it used a almost a quart of a the tank.

Michelle TRight mirror was broken and taped. I had to stretch to see my blind spots. Uhual had 0 gas and was told it did. So I gave them back the truck with almost a quarter tank and still got charged $30 gas fee. I did not mind the location nice people. I just didn’t like that I was over charged for a truck that was dangerous to drive and no gas.
Jan RThe manager alex made the process extremely difficult when first my boyfriend was the one who tried to get the U-Haul and the manager had sent him the wrong link and when he showed the clerk who was working at the time and when the clerk called the manager, the manager said to just cancel the reservation. My boyfriend asked why it needed to be canceled when he needed another link, and the Manager just told the clerk over the phone to “take the keys and get him out of there.” my boyfriend tried again to make the U-Haul reservation the same day at the same location because we were already there, but do mobile pickup, but the reservation kept getting changed to different locations and different times and the insurance kept getting taken off multiple times, so we believe that the manager was most likely messing with the reservation. The next day I had to make the reservation and luckily the clerk didn’t need to call the manager because I was given the correct links and everything. The clerks who were working were great, I didn’t get their names, but it was frustrating to have the manager make a mistake and then have us suffer the consequences for it. Me and my boyfriend aren’t old enough to rent cars and he flew down to visit me so this was our only option to bike back-and-forth multiple times aggravating.

KARLOYN PWhen we arrived to pick up our truck for a 800 plus mile trip, the service the two U-Haul representatives were more interested in taking on their cell phone than providing useful information and advice about driving the vehicle. They acted if they had other important things to do. Gave us the key to the truck with minimal instructions and pointed the direction to the truck. Once on the road to pick up our household items for the trip about 8 miles away, the steering or play in the steering was very loose causing steering and over-steering. The transmission from 1st to 3rd or 4th gear generated more than 4000rpm to change. We stopped by a second U-Haul dealership on the way to our house to get advice on what we should do before we loaded the truck. We were advised to call U-Haul for instructions on what to do since the vehicle was acting very erratic. This U-Haul representative was very helpful and sympathetic to our needs and timing because we had moving people lined up to help load the truck. We were instructed to take the truck back where we picked the truck up as there would be a replacement waiting for us. This new truck was in excellent condition for a long haul and the place where we dropped the vehicle off was also very nice and helpful in the return.

Sally SThey place me in a uhaul that was no clean inside the cab and the back which I have severly photos. I was not maintance as well a lot of wear and tear to this uhaul. I was dissatified with the whole experience. At the end this place always over charge and you do get to see what they are doing because they don't give you a receipt when you drop the uhaul off.
