Steven ADefinitely do not recommend. It was the only option near us in the town, otherwise we would never set foot in here. Entering an establishment with a confederate flag and political propaganda everywhere was very uncomfortable for our moving crew.
Christopher BPoor communications skills: I requested a trailer on line couple of day prior of pickup, gave a info on line with added insurance... no more, no less! I get to this site for Pick up of the trailer, the worker start by asking all the same input that I've filled out on line. I informed him that this was done on line with added insurance coverage...he informed me that it does not show on his pc, red flag! I got there an hour early due to other dealings of mine. I requested 24 hour rental on line but yet he informed me that he has to charge 2 days rental instead or 24 hour rental cause I pick up trailer early. I in formed this worker that I will bring the trailer back in 24 Hours or less... with no added charges. BY MEANS, This site needs much better interactions with communication skills!!! Plus the trailer that I've pickup had rocks, wood chips and trash in the bed... I only hauled an Appliance that was new in the boxes, come on!

Susan HI'm so fed up, at age 65 and at least 15 U-Haul rentals behind me, with the final charges for equipment, fees, insurance, etc. totaling 25-50% more than the original quote. I am not including the mileage costs in that. But speaking of mileage U-Haul's truck odometers are calibrated to record 1.5X the actual miles driven. I know my mileage between locales and within my particular community and when checking U-Haul's odometers they are consistently over by 50%. I hope to God this move has been my last because U-Haul is the only truck rental around(I guess that's how they've gotten away with shady practices)and I'm tired of being cheated just because I need a big truck from time to time.

Lonnie TThere is nothing wrong with the service locations. It's the company itself. No reason other than pure greed to increase costs originally quoted at ~$800 24 hours later it is increased to over $2,000. I was told it was because of students returning to college. Way to go U-Haul! gouge our weakest earners and or their families. If that was even true, I doubt, because when I made the reservations most of our students nationwide were already back in school. I have used U-Haul for decades with great service but after this experience the only way I'd use the services again is if U-Haul reimbursed me for the entire expenditure because there where so may other unmentioned issues during this move that I don't have time to address and quite frankly this will go no where anyways so sayonara U-Haul!!

Jimmie CThe friendly, pleasant people made up for the stupidity of the web site. I use Mozilla Firefox browser and some sites only support Chrome or Edge, which I will never use. So if it was because of my browser choice, I'll never access online again. IF your support team can use Firefox, go to the point where you are to enter the front and back pictures of your drivers license. Upload the front, then click on NEXT to go to next page for back picture. The image dims on a click repeatedly but never advances to the next screen. Looking above for an error code, I tried the different license box. No difference. My license is a Missouri state license certified for TSA acceptance. Also, the texting messages totally pissed me off. 3-6:00am? really? Multiple times.To remind me to enter my DL? Your facilities are clean, the equipment well maintained, staff are helpful, but somebody needs to take a better look at the technology side and fix it.
