Terrible, just very bad. Never received any instructions at all. I was told there would be moving blankets and there were none. The truck was out of gas and the gentleman told me there was a 1/4 tank of gas. We went right to the closest gas station as it really was empty. Did not get a walk around looking at the exterior condition of the truck. Check out took forever, close to 1 hour.

Allen OThe man i spoke to was in new jersey he was not transparent, did not advise me of additional charges or of a minnimum of 4 day charges on a wheel dolly for a car. I feel that uhaul no longer deserves my buisness. I could have bought a wheel dolly for what the rental cost me
Roy WHave the ability to print the receipt. Add the extra miles as asked. Only given 99 miles when told that the distance was going to be about 135 miles. Charged an extra $30 for the mile overage. Should have had $24 discount for returning the truck to Havelock and it was not removed from the cost. The location changed three times within the week. Location on Arlington was very nice and helpful. Second location Larry was one of the rudest people I have dealt with. When ask what his location was near was told to use a GPS. Have used U-Haul at least 10 times over the last several years. Never again. Would only work with U-Haul employed business.

Brandie WWhen I brought the truck and tow truck back I was told to 'put the car tow in back and unhook then put the truck up front'. In the past I would take it to the drop off facility, the staff would come out to inspect the truck, I would hand over the keys then they would put it to where it belonged!
Kellie ATell people there’s gonna be an up charge for a renewal how much it’s gonna be and give them another option if for any reason, they can’t make it back in time. I feel as though I was overcharged like crazy. I could’ve made it back the night that I was supposed to bring it back, but I was exhausted after unloading the entire U-Haul with only three people where I was going, after having all odds turned against me that night and having to drive it for the first time by myself. I would never recommend this specific location or even U-Haul in general to anybody if this is how they treat their valued customers. Not only was I overcharged, but I feel like I was scammed First you charge me for $207 in the beginning and then another 300 something dollars and drop the first 207? Sounds crazy but I would love to hear from somebody directly and not have a callback line. call me. When I tried to contact U-Haul about this problem , the U-Haul callback line will not connect me with an agent fast enough even though the callback line called me back twice. I waited on hold for over five minutes and by the time I needed to do something else because I was on a time schedule today I had to hang up because I had to clock in for work. I am over the moon pissed with you all.

James SI requested documentation of receipt of equipment and its condition upon return. The location declined to provide me this documentation and said that I would receive it via email. I have still yet to receive that documentation.

Julius BIf you use the mobile check in don't because you will not get the key. You will have to go inside & get the key. When returning be ready to wait because the two that was there I was in the store first they waited on the customers that came in after me, then took their time to get to me. When she finally got to me she checked the truck then said i had to park the truck back in its original spot. I thought they where to do all that. I will not rent from them again. It was very convenient but I will go the extra mile to another professional spot. I should have listen to the reviews.
jalando cMaintenance on the trailer and have someone who knows what to do on site. And most uhaul locations the trailers are loaded and unloaded from your truck.

Victoria CMy husband and I had an appointment to pick up a uhaul at 8:30am last Saturday from a different location that we could not access because the location was closed. We had to contact a representative and cancel it. We were sent to a U-Haul location further from the area we needed it for, which added unnecessary miles. The U-haul had dirt in the floorboard. We had to sweep the back out before using it because of dirt and candy paper pieces left behind from previous users, and the AC did not work in the truck. It took us over 3 hours from our original appointment to get a U-haul that we reserved the night before through the app. Overall, unpleasant experience.

Deshawn DWhen someone reserves 2 weeks in advance make sure the vehicle is at the right location. My reservation was switched 3 times in a 2 day span. That is unacceptable.
David KGreat pick up and drop off hours. Store employees need to contact owner by phone (not on site) who then processes rental paperwork. Owner did not respond for about 25 minutes while we waited so you may experience a delay. Drop off delay was only about 10 minutes.
