I had rented a U-Haul with a dolly for my move to a different state. I purposely placed my order at a location that I had used before and knew that there would be a person onsite. A few days before pickup I got a call that my pickup location would be moving to a different site that was mobile pick up only. This was unfortunate, but I understood that things happen. When I arrived at to the mobile pick up area, there was an issue opening the back of the uhaul, nobody from the business was around but thankfully a man who was friends with the person who owned this uhaul mobile pick up spot was there and helped open the truck. Upon opening the truck there was no dolly inside. Again the man who was there checked all the other trucks but none had a dolly. I called the U-Haul customer support number and was told to find a different U-Haul location in my town and see if they have a dolly. I went to three separate locations, including one being a U-Haul owned store and none had dollys. I had spent over three hours trying to get the truck and find a dolly only to end up purchasing one from Menards. This was a super disappointing experience and seriously set back my move. For the amount that you pay, this is unacceptable.
