The vehicle was in poor condition. The gearbox was faulty; the gears were difficult to shift. It was hard to start. The battery and oil levels were both at half capacity. The service cost didn't seem cheap, considering the vehicle's condition and all the associated expenses. If you pay $20 to reserve the vehicle, then you pay $15 for insurance, and on top of that, you pay $40 for the mileage you'll use, plus the fuel cost. If I paid for the mileage, I'm essentially paying for the fuel. In my opinion, I paid twice for the mileage. In short, I use it out of necessity, not because it's cost-effective.

The gentleman who assisted me at the pick up location was fantastic. Was very helpful. Wish I had his name to share.
JAMES WI went in and dropped off keys...nobody came out to check mileage and/or fuel. Week later, I'm charged because they said I left the fuel lower and it cost me $57...easy to get in and out but getting taxed extra wasn't nice and I won't be using the company again.
CHRIS DGreat customer service!
TAREEN AThe store clerk would not complete the return while I was at the location, and was deceptive regarding the amount of gas left in the U-Haul truck upon drop off —the tank was left at a quarter OVER half a tank, and he listed the tank at a quarter UNDER half, resulting in an approx. $4 fee. I called multiple numbers and was not able to get a refund or the matter corrected. The same clerk lied and said he double checked the trucks tank WHILE I was on the phone with him, and then proceeded to say the truck had just been rented to another customer. I believe this location scams U-Haul customers by listing incorrect gas amounts upon return. This should be looked in to.
