I requested a U-Haul location and a desk transaction for specific reasons. I also did not request a dolly or furniture pads as I have my own. My reservation was changed to a different, less convenient location that required cell phone check-in which caused delays and frustration. After returning the truck I was still charged for pads and a dolly which I never used and in addition to making the reservation with no pads or dolly, I told the guy when I was checking in that I did not request a dolly or pads. I was charged anyway. This is the second time I have been directed to non-corporate locations and the experience was about the same the first time. If you can't fulfill the reservation as made, don't accept the reservation.

They just took my keys when I dropped off the truck. I did not even come close to the 50 miles I estimated. Charged me 133 and could not explain why. This is why I like to be checked in and the truck is inspected while I am there . I have rented from U-Haul several times worse location ever ! They guy just took my keys put in the wrong mileage when I got my invoice. I was hesitant on giving him the keys. They just can put what they want and charge what they want

amara HI actually locked it like a normal human, you're welcome. Fuel was marked as 7/8 for pickup yet it was 3/4. I dropped it off above 3/4 yet was still charged extra for gas discrepancies. I ordered a 10 ft truck and 2 day use time with less miles needed than what was altered for the order which was guised as a discount. I find that hard to believe 2 extra days, extra miles and a larger truck produced a discount. Quote ended up being much more than my original order until I contacted someone named Mike who ultimately removed $50 apparently.
