I was just dropping off. My issue is really with U-Haul. The main number called me to say that the truck I reserved was not available and that my pickup location changed to McKinney. I said ok. They agreed to give me an additional 40 miles bringing the total to 119 miles. When I picked up the truck in McKinney I found out that the rate had changed from $115 (special rate for dropping off in Greenville) to $160 and they only gave me an additional 24 miles. If the pick-up location had to be changed due to inventory, why would I be forced to pay a higher price? I also was then billed for an additional 16 miles for going over. If the rate changes due to pick-up changes by U-Haul, U-Haul should not adjust the price or at the very least notify the customer about the change.

The trailer was sitting in high weeds and we were a little skeptical about taking it but once he pulled it out, it seemed OK. I was a little disappointed that they did not have any adapters for sale just in case you didn’t have one we actually had to walk across a busy street to an auto store to purchase one.

This was the second location I was sent to for drop off and they did not know how to receive the dolly. I had to speak with the own and Uhaul the three days later I had to call Uhaul because my rental was still open

This location charged me double and had to request a refund from customer service. And top of that whenever I rent uhauls I never get the safe move for $15. But this location insisted I not check in on my phone and let him do it on his laptop, where he added the safe move $15 fee without my consent. Area manager should look into this tactic.

This location knew what do with ending my rental and was a much better experience than the pickup location, but I was still made to unhook the trailer myself which I was told was not ok per U-Haul support.
