I've been to this location several times. Never an issue. In and out no problems. I will always use this location. The owner is Top Notch.

ANDREW MThere were available dollys to rent but they were small. It would of been nice to have some availability of larger dollys to rent since I was hauling a huge freezer. The dolly I rented just wasn't big enough and couldn't be used, so I wasted the 12.00 in renting it

JOHN PWhen I dropped off I was 2 minutes before they closed (I would have been annoyed too) and I saw the person driving away. I had no problems dropping off the truck on the mobile app, but I wasn't sure where to park. Overall my experience with UHaull was awful.
Annemarie CMy experience with the attendant was excellent, but my experience with the u-haul equipment was very poor. Upon starting the 15 foot truck I initially ordered, I found that the check engine light was on. Considering the length of my trip I was not comfortable taking a truck with the check engine light active, so I brought it to the attention of the desk. After a brief phone call she was able to give me the option to use an older 17 foot truck instead. This one did not have the check engine light on, but was in generally poor condition. I later realized it was stuck in tow/haul mode and upon arriving at my ultimate destination found that the box had been leaking. Most of my cargo that was on the floor was soaked.

Michael GI wish i knew about the hidden charges upfront like charge by per mile etc, Environmental fee etc, I went to rent a truck for 19.95 but hidden charges lead it up $125 bill... which I though was too much...
Anis ACheck in on an I-phone was horrendous. Should have done a lot of the check in info at the time we made the reservation to save time at pick up.

Thomas MReserved to use mobile app pick up. They never put key in lock box so app told me to wait until 9 AM to start app process. Then after 9 it told me I needed to go inside for key but they were closed until 12pm!!!! Around 10 am someone came out of attached house to go to work and they agreed to find key for me in building. Very frustrating!!!!!
David FThis place is great! Staff is friendly; vehicles well maintained. Wish U-Haul website would let me select the place I want to use rather than defaulting to the closest one. A-1 Self Storage is worth the few extra miles.

lori mOffice didn't open until 10 AM and it took about 20 minutes to get through the contract so I could grab the keys and get started. I had hired moving assistance through U-Haul and they were ready to go at 10 AM but couldn't do anything until I had the truck. Had I known the process was going to take that long, I would have scheduled a later start time for the labor help.

anne cPlace a warning to the people that participate in your "safe move" that the price is per day rather than make it seem like an over all price. It's misleading and during a stressful time like moving when budgets are tight its incredibly inconvenient and stressful

GONZALEZ BWas very dissatisfied at the fact I was not allowed to pay cash at the end of my transaction. What possible reason could there be to not allow a cash payment when you turn the vehicle back in. This was totally unacceptable. And if this a UHaul policy then I would never recommend use of this service.
Joseph CMissing equipment (furniture pads, appliance dolly, utility dolly). Tire light was on
HANNA KWhen I picked up the truck, I was told that the previous renter reported a low tire pressure warning, but that the light eventually goes off. There was no other truck on the lot to swap out. I asked if the tire pressure was ok, and they didn’t know. When I brought the truck to my move out location, I saw that the rear right tire was visibly low. I called customer service which dispatched a tire repair service. The tire did indeed have a hole and it was replaced. Roadside assistance was great. My real issue is probably not unique to this location, but I’m very frustrated that the truck was not properly inspected by the people operating the storage facility and the tire pressure issue was not investigated. I lost several hours of moving time waiting to resolve the issue on my own, and could have very well been stuck with the flat on my 170+ mile drive had I not been prudent to call roadside assistance. Additionally, the camera in the rear view mirror was not working, nor was the dome light in the back of the truck.

John MAir conditioning didn’t work at all on one of the hottest days of the summer in New Jersey and couldn’t park uhaul back where it was parked because someone parked a small uhaul where it was parked so I ended up having to block about 6 or 7 parking spots because there was no other place to put it!

philip pThe staff here is both pleasant and professional. The cargo van we rented was brand new with less than 1000 miles. Believe me, it was worth going the few extra miles to rent from A-1 in Rio Grande. We'd certainly rent from them again - in a heartbeat!
Melinda GHad a one-way rental from Claymont, DE to Ocean View NJ. During the reservation process I indicated I would drop off at a location in Woodbine, NJ, approximately 5 miles from my location. When I called from Ocean View, I was told I could not drop the vehicle at that location or another location within 5 miles. Was told the only place I can return the vehicle was approximately 15-20 miles away and in the opposite direction of my trip. Very frustrated with this issue. Don't understand why I wasn't told at the reservation my location for drop off was not available.
