Better instructions on lock box information & retrieval of key. Ours told us to go to the box near the window on the building. The lock w the code was actually the lock to the truck (which was unknown until we called for help).

CLAYTON RTrailer running lights did not function, and while I pointed this out to staff, they did not repair. Handle on trailer tongue was broken off, trailer was old, rusty and in poor condition- should be retired from fleet.
THOMAS LMy truck reservation was not at the pick up point. I had to take a larger truck instead. Way too much truck for what I needed. It would have been nice to be able to switch vehicles at a different location.
JASON SBeware of this place. The contract said the fuel tank was 15/16th full (50 gal tank). I assumed it was correct (silly me) - I TRUSTED the people providing me the equipment. On the way home (30 mile drive), I decided to stop and ensure the tank was completely full for my upcoming long trip. This is when I noticed the tank was only 3/8th full! Yes, the contract clearly says it's my responsibility to ensure the fuel guage reads correctly before I leave the lot. So contractually, it's my fault for not ensuring that everything was correct. However, ETHICALLY, I find this abhorrent, especially when UHaul specifically requested that I use this dealer since they don't get a lot of traffic. Now I know why. It wasn't about the money - it's about ethics.
RAYMOND BTruck ran good worked great but inside had soda spilled on cup holder area and was in need of a cleaning and wipe down before we got it! Back of truck wasn't swept out lots of random stuff from previous use
JEFFREY PYes the milage I was charged and the total was not explained to me at all. I was told and understood it to be much cheaper then it ended up being but when I returned the truck the guy said nothing to me just did the paperwork and said thank you and handed me my receipt so I think more communication is needed
JAYCE PThe truck had no gas in it and I was overcharged a considerable amount of money. I was not given any receipt because he told me it had already been emailed to me, but it was not.

Chris SGood place to pick up, and drop off. Thought the attendent doing paperwork seemed to have some issues or something bothering him as he just seemed distracted and not very informative. He also never discussed how to return equipment, where to return equipment or much of anything. I asked a couple of questions that never got answered. The guy outside that help load was great! He set up the pick up spot, made sure it was on correct, was freindly and helpful.

NICHOLAS RI usually don't do reviews but this rental experience is the worst I've ever had. Customer service was fine . Kind and polite. The truck however was filthy. The back smelled of rotten meat or a fridge was left in there unplugged for weeks. The cab had the smell of wet dog and cat urine. My wife almost lost her lunch when she opened the door to let me out of the cab. I drove 40 miles in 30 degree weather with both windows down and no heat due to the smell in the vents. Please for the love of god wash your trucks!!!!

Kenneth JHeadlights were not effective. Headlight lenses were not properly maintained. I only felt safe driving a max of 50 mph as I could not see far, even with high beams on! I lost many hours on my trip. Pick-up location refused to secure my vehicle to the auto transport. I had to complete myself with zero experience. One of the ratchets on the tire straps was broken. It would consistently loosen after only 30-60 mins of driving. I had to stop every hour or so over a 16-hour trip to re-install. I had an extremely poor experience with my truck.

Dave MI have never been dissapointed with equipment or service at the E Francis location. I have rented numerous times in the last month + for a lengthy in town move and cleaning out of my moms estate. John is the Assistant Mgr and is always pleasant, helpful and professional. He goes the extra mile to make it a great experience. I'll go back for any moving needs, and also any rental needs...and they have propane too! A to Z rental/ E Francis Uhaul for life!! And fyi, try to avoid the online Uhaul booking system, it's problematic to say the least. Reserve directly. Thanks John!!

Shawna NWas called from another location to drop it off and they said they would credit me $50 to do that. I called the original location to tell them and they said no I had to bring it to the original location. The gas marker when I got it said just under 5/8 and I brought it back just over between 1/2 and 5/8 they said 1/2. They were wrong $28 charge for maybe 1 gallon. Bad experience on drop off end. Would never go there again.

Nicholas KMy greatest wish is that trucks be dispatched with a FULL tank of fuel and brought back with a full tank. It is extremely difficult to measure any lesser amount using the gage.

Steven DThis location was not prepared for fitting the trailor to my car. I came in with a hitch ball that was too big and I didn’t have an adapter for a four prong to seven prong plug. I had to go find these items elsewhere and come back.
