I hate giving bad reviews, and much of my criticism has nothing to do with the personnel at this location. Problem no. 1: I had assumed that this location would be a genuine U-Haul facility. It’s not. It’s a service garage that has no U-Haul signage of any kind. Took me 20 minutes to find it. Problem no. 2: A relatively minor gripe, but this vehicle had over 118,000 miles on the clock. Fortunately I wasn’t going very far or for very long, but this vehicle was long overdue for retirement. Problem no. 3: The bill was borderline fraudulent. Included was a $30 “service fee” for gas, and $37 for the gas itself, for a whopping $67, which was half of the total bill of $130. The person at the gas station was, once I pointed this out, very helpful, and suggested I put the gas in myself (three gallons for the 16 miles I had driven, which seemed a lot), and troubleshot my invoice to reduce it to a more sensible amount. Conclusion: it will be a VERY long time before I use H-Haul again.
