The u haul app did not work well making the pickup and dropoff experience difficult. Truck milage at pick was higher than app thought and the gas was lower than the app thought. Luckily I noticed and corrected these, as both would have resulted in me being overcharged. It was also unclear from the reservation process on the app that the 10' truck would not have a ramp, which prevented the truck from doing all I needed it to. Overall bad experience.

Dominic HCheck in process through the app time consuming. Ordered 2 furniture dollies there were none. Why bother renting to the when you don’t have the equipment to complete the task. Ridiculously stupid, with no notification! The rental cost should be totally refunded in my opinion, $50 returned to me is a joke and worthless. Very, very dissapointed

Coral CIt wasn’t so much the location, although, there wasn’t an ideal parking space for drop off. I requested a dolly and there wasn’t one in there but I was charged anyway. Pick up through your website was not working and I waited on hold for at least 30 minutes. Please refund the dolly charge. Van was not clean upon pick up.

WILLIAM LYour online checkin experience is very complicated & a waste of time. You guys should have warnings for how long the process takes. It gave me no indication I needed a reference person until we were trying to get the truck. Maybe even have the person who calls to confirm the res explain the needs of the checkin. And also that there are photo requests after the truck is returned. I’ve never had such an annoying experience with uhaul.

Mark HI was frustrated with this location today because I had reserved a pickup truck for 11 AM a few days ago. When i got there they tried to give me a box truck and when i declined, i was told the pickup truck wasn’t available and they gave me a location 4 miles away that had a truck available. If I had a vehicle available that would have been fine but I was renting the truck from that location because I didn’t have a good way of getting to the other one. I was able to get the truck at 3 PM instead.
ABDURRAFEY KThis location is usually great. This time I rented the van on short notice (1 hour). It was clearly not ready to go out. Covered in dirt, less than a quarter tank of gas. I didn't notice until later that the right side mirror arm was broken. When I got on the highway, I had trouble merging because I couldn't use the mirror.
Peter DThe online check in process was horrible. The website timed out over and over and over again forcing me to keep reentering the same information and wait for things to load. Nothing wrong with AAMCO, but the uhaul website was absolutely awful.
Aidan JI was charged for insurance that I was not asked about and that I did not agree to. I have insurance that covers rentals and would have declined if I was given the option. This is deceitful.
KYLE MHe told me gas tank was 3/4 full when I did paperwork, but it was just over 1/2 full when I got in. No one was at desk to tell them when I was leaving so I filled it to 5/8 of a tank before returning and told the man at the desk what had happened but you still charged me for gas refill, which was annoying. The guy who checked me in was a bit "on edge" and slow moving...

sandra aIt is not about this location but about the reservation. When I got the deal it said that I got 132 mi and the rate is good for 2 days. When I completed the reservation it appeared to be good for 24 hours and 89 miles, so I had to pay for extra miles. I think that your booking system should not flip the original offer. This was very frustrating. I had no time to do it with a different company and had to go for it. I wish I had happier experience.

The reservation system at Uhaul, when ordering 'Extras," such as boxes or blankets, is flawed. I was given no other option than to have the items shipped to my residence. Which is odd, due to the fact that the site stated they could only be picked-up at the state street address. So, not only was I charged for the items, as well as the shipping, I had to repurchase the items in-town. Now, I am out that money, as I am moving away from the address that they have been shipped to.

And now I have to take another trip up North and will have to spend more money in renting a trailer. I’m not very happy with Uhaul.
