Rachel KOwner was late to site for pickup. The website wouldn't load on thr computer or his phone and he had no hard copy contracts. The truck had 80 miles of gas in it when picked up even though they knew I was driving to another state.

LEROY WI learned during the day after the rental that the ACT location has the worst U-Haul reputation in Tulsa. Parking lot shared with neighboring business who would rather not have U-Haul customers on their property. This needs signage on U-Haul's part to prevent hard feelings. Young man from neighboring business was quite aggressive and angry about U-Haul customers being anywhere near his place. Moving pads I ordered were not on truck. Lock on back was unlocked. This was an after hours pick-up so the keys were locked in the back of the truck. No signage telling me that I had to leave the lock on sight, and no obvious reference to this on the check-out material . I tried to turn in lock in OKC. Was notified that I would be charged for the lock. This did not have to happen. Check-in took over two hours. App did not work on my 1 year old Samsung phone. On phone with customer service because of this for most of the check-in. They failed to advise me to leave the lock on site too. Disconnected from customer service with no call back from them. My prior U-Haul experiences have all gone much more smoothly than this. These experiences all involved a physical check-in with U-Haul staff. I would not recommend checking in via the website to anyone. Lady who checked me in at OKC was competent and helpful. What do I have to do to have the rental for the non-existent pads removed from my bill? I am really not interested in paying for the lock that I tried to turn in at the OKC location because there were no instructions in the material or on the truck to leave it at the Tulsa site.

Shawn HThe problem for me is on the side of the van we rented twice in the last month and on the side of the truck says $19.95 a day plus mileage. On the website it says for extended mileage $0.29 a mile from the regular $0.79 a mile. And when I went to drop the van back both times it jumps to $79 a day plus mileage. Its not the locations fault it is u-hauls fault. If you looked up my husbands name in u-haul. You would see in 2017 -18 & 19 we used to rent all the time from u-haul and then we just stopped and switched to hertz because there vans are $55.00 a day no extra fees. Hertz has been booked so we used u-haul again. Because of the crazy mileage fees we were charged and not knowing if it is going to end-up being $19.95 a day or $79.00 a day when you drop the van back off. WE WILL NO LONGER BE USING U-HAUL MOVING TRUCKS OR VANS AGIN IN THE FUTURE. IF HERTZ IS BOOKED, I WILL JUST BUY A CHEEP VAN NEXT TIME. THANX Angela Lense

Thomas WAnswer the phone. The low tire light came on before I left and I couldn’t get ahold of anyone at the storage office or on the UHaul side of things. 30 minutes after my pick up time, I finally decided to just go to my destination. Luckily nothing happened. I also didn’t receive my contract until AFTER my purchase and after I dropped my van off. I had no idea how much gas to put in the vehicle and probably put too much in. Also, the site should request a contact BEFORE you get the vehicle, not when you pick it up. That put me 20 minutes behind my schedule waiting to get a second contact approved. I will not use the UHaul service again.

jarred pI would recommend the trailers come with jacks attached in case there is an emergency requiring a loaded trailer to unhitch from the vehicle. I also believe the trailers need to be designed to handle speeds greater than 55 mph. Those were sufficient 20 years ago. Now with higher speed limits it has become unsafe to drive that slow.

LYNN WI reserved the trailed over a week in advance for 9 days, I went to pick it up and the tires were in bad shape. The Uhaul rep there told me that he didn't have another trailer but if I would drive across town 20 miles they would change out the tires or give me a different trailer. I do not feel it is my responsibility to take the trailer to have serviced. It should have been ready and checked out before I got there. I took it across town and explained the situation, I needed the trailer that day! That Uhaul center gave me a complete different trailer in good condition. I called and posted a complaint, was redirected a few times and finally the Rep. from the zone I live in, Kelly I think was his name, called me back. He apologized and said he would look into it. He offered to reduce my daily rate by $4.00 per day. However when I was billed, they discount was not applied. Not real happy with the experience. ACT Storage's U haul rep is terrible and is not concerned about the customer.

TINA BKeep your reservation as promised. I rented a truck from a location close to where I was moving from. Received a call from uhaul the morning I had reservations to pick up the truck. Was told the truck I had reserved was not going to be returned in time and would need to pick up a truck from another location. This location was quite a bit further away from the original reserved location.
